  • Thanks for the advice ladies.....I need to fish out my insurance documents and have a look in the fine print to make sure i am covered to drive, the last thing I need is to have my insurance invalidated if heaven forbid anything did happen!

DS has nursery Monday to Thursday only, so in theory if I trade the weekend for the wing mirror I am only asking an extra 2 days which I would feel better about.....his Mum (if I was of a mindset to turn the house into a war zone again :eek::eek:) is not available as her daughter's baby needs 2nd batch of injections and is going over there next week, but I don't want to disrupt DS routine if I can help it.

Looks like HH Paperwork in the morning for me, just in case:D!
The cold never bothered me anyway

Skint FWIW (two sections) 'don't drive' is advice as opposed to a medical 'thing' - not like they have given you a document to say you CAN NOT drive - they just advise you don't;)
(And am fairly sure it's the emergency braking that is the issue ( well that and heaving a baby in a car seat into the car and bending over to strap her in))
I wasn't supposed to pick DS up AT ALL because he was hefty...which is why I fell asleep with the baby ON THE BED in the hospital because my rings were ignored...
Funny how, on the post labour ward, you 'have just had a baby' whereas on the gynae ward (where your mate was, also post op, but having had fibroids removed) you've had a serious operation....
when, to all intents and purposes you have both had a 'growth' removed from the womb...and I had had an epidural AND a general and she'd only had a general and she didn't have an adverse reaction to anaesthetic which resulted in a BP so low it was thought SOMEONE was in shock or had internal bleeding...

Morning all. I'm not doing today's list as I did our bedroom earlier in the week and only stripped the bed yesterday so turning the mattress can wait for another time. So today, I'll be catching up on a few things from the lists around the paid stuff and dailies:

    HHI
    Clean toilets
    Clean sinks
Clean rest of worksurfaces in kitchen including gibble on them
    Clean windowsill in bathroom
Clean/hoover floors (although I do downstairs each day and upstairs will get done at weekend anyway if I don't find time today)

    Weekend Jobs:
    Clean all windows inside
    List items on fleabay
    Me time

Have a great day everyone. It's FRIDAY!!!
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning ladies.

Plan today is to get DD1 to school.
Take poorly DS3 to MIL (had to collect him from school yesterday). Get ready for funeral
Collect DD1 from work. Go to funeral via finding her somewhere to change clothes.
Order new roman blind for MB, buy wallpaper and paint.
Bake and decorate cake for my birthday tomorrow (another Aquarian)
Nag DH to card tart to new 0% deal.
    Try and finish the ironing.

I hope everyone has a good day.

flying high this week, house nearly transformed - bedroom started, and about to start clutter on floor!
Now that house back in order I am going to try and keep going next week when back at work, even if i get to level 2 it will save me trying to cram everything into the weekend (and usually failing miserabley).
Thanks again you are all a great support.

    Morning,

All fed and dressed here, cleaned round after breakfast, helped DS build his train track, collected dry washing and sorted into what needs ironing and what can go away. It feels cold although bright and wind has dropped. We might head out for a little walk for some fresh air.

Have done an online tosco order for next week, using their new lists. Went on mysupermarket :money: first for bargains then added extras on their own site.

Might do a mini garden fling too, get rid of some gibble from the flowerpot graveyard...

    Off I go!
