I think, before I go off out, I shall wash the Vallimobile.

Hope Mr Ionafan's head isn't too bad this morning and huge congratulations and well done to Valli on the presentation (and that your head isn't too bad, either).

Flying has consisted of starting the engine and thinking about taxi-ing, but there seems to be a problem with real movement of any sort. I'm decluttering copious amounts of coffee and thinking about tidying my desk, but ... meh ... that would require decisions. I'm not even up to making one of those this morning. I'll go and feed the WM and move the airer out onto the patio. That counts as flying, doesn't it?
    Better is good enough.
  • Hi all,

Have been unexpectedly busy on the social side this week which has been lovely but I'm feeling a bit behind.... Have managed to do the dailies but not much more but should fit in some catch up flying this weekend. DH will be at work, DD1 will be at work Saturday and no doubt out with friends on Sunday, and DD2 out all day Saturday at a friends.

Hope everyone has a good Friday. Catch up later and some HHC's for me; does anyone want to join me 10.15-10.45?

    Morning all

After an early start I seem to have consumed a lot of time without achieving much.

Just going to put washing on the maiden then head out to the shops to look for a few bits for DS3's birthday on Monday.

You're a lifesaver Loulou Cake. I'll definitely join you and that'll make me do something vigorous. Thank you.

    Morning all :D

Early start here. DD decided to come in to me at 6am and tried to get in my bed (normal routine now since she started secondary school, I'm trying to break it though!) which normally means we fall back to sleep until about 7am (if not later!) but not today. For some reason I decided to mention that if she got up & sorted she could have the kids tv on before school. Result: DD ready for school by 7am  :D:j So of course I was up and moving. I started doing some work at 7am, finished about 8am and now need to go out since its a more sociable time to see customers. ;) Only downside was I was subjected to Thomas The Tank Engine before she left :rotfl: There are times when I find it hard to believe she's nearly 12 :rotfl::rotfl:

So I've been pottering around tidying away stuff properly in the livingroom, juggling work stuff around so it all fits in the one cupboard (except 2 boxes which sit out on the side for now) while watching/listening to my programmes on catch-up. Only 4 more to go, then change the catch-up site for another one and make a start there :rotfl: Now I really should shift myself out to work. Think I might go the bakers and get myself something for lunch afterwards. ;)

    I also need to:
Update finances (1st of the month = bills day!)
    Books out to customers.
Call school to arrange dropping orders off on Monday to customers there (staff members) - actually going to pop in instead. Then I can find out who the customer who's name I don't recognise is. ;)
Banish 2 empty boxes upstairs for storage - recycle the box they replace!
Make potato bake style thing in slow cooker or remoska before the spuds start growing new ones :o

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
