Didn't achieve a great deal in my HHC, but I must have been running around a bit 'cos I'm much warmer than I've been for a couple of months and the heating is only on low :D

    - sorted today's washing
    - folded the dry clothes from yesterday and hung up 16 pairs of socks to dry on the bathroom radiator
    - decluttered DGC's ducks from family bathroom
    - replaced said ducks with a basket of [STRIKE]smelly[/STRIKE] scented potpourri - so family bathroom now "clutter-free" and "elegantly dressed" as the estate agents say - I shall miss my cheerful ducks :(
    - started moving bedroom furniture: we have 2 spare bedrooms with a double bed in one room and a 3' bed with a 2'6" bed underneath in the other room, and I wanted to show that they are both double rooms, so I was going to swap the beds over - but then I decided instead just to put the second single up, There's not a lot of room between the single beds (an extra foot if I moved the double bed in there) but I think it will look OK
    - sorted books in spare room
    - emptied bins
    - photographed a pair of conservatory chairs ready for eB@ying
    - read the post
    - answered the phone - it was my friend from Sussex, and we talked for another HH :)

Just decluttering :coffee: now, and I'll make another phonecall while I'm doing so, then I'll get back to flying.

Anyone up for another HHC starting at 12.15?

    Hi

catching up late today. Didn't get up til 0830 as DS2 was up for 2.5 hours in the middle of the night with sore teeth and as DH is off work today he told me to have a lie in whilst he fed and dressed DS1 for school. Got up at 0830 to see him off to school but could have happily stayed in bed all day :p

Have taken DS2 to rhyme and time, taken back library books and dropped off 3 bags of DS2 old clothes at a cash for clothes place so some good wee jobs done there. Sorting out a bag for charity this afternoon of old toys, books and odds and sods that have been gathering.

Quite a successful shop, I'll just have lunch and then may do the wrapping before popping to my friend's for a cuppa.

Replied to an abusive ebay email, in a very calm way. Seller I had raised a claim against and won has got the right hump.

Well, I have just finished the HHC that I started at 12.15 :rotfl:

Got interrupted by a phonecall from another good friend, so I have just cleaned upstairs and hoovered downstairs. We are unlikely to be having any visitors until next week, and if anyone comes unexpectedly they will just have to ignore any dust or streaky windows.

One thing I discovered is that DD had stood DGS2 on the windowsill in the guest bedroom in order to see out, and consequently there are little handprints all over the glass  I shall have to get my white vinegar spray out again, LW ;)

No sign of DH yet - he's normally home soon after 2.00. It must be because I want him to do some outstanding paperwork this afternoon...

We've been up to the field to feed the horses. They were pushing each other out of the way to get to us! Bit scary actually :D one of them was a big buggar :rotfl:

Need to wash kids shoes as they are thick with mud, and my gloves have got horse snot on them  lol

We've had bacon and eggs for lunch, done some painting (pics not walls) had a visit from my mum and now watching Harry Potter (again) DD wants to know who the critters in the bank are so I said "goblins" and she's now singing about "boglins" :rotfl:

I've done a hhi and sorted through the paints, DS gave me back some empty ones <fling> so that's created a little gap on a shelf.

We've also sent thank you's for his birthday cards and presents, and checked with surgery about his jabs - had a reminder but was sure he ha d them last year - I was right. Also booked my appt to review my anxiety meds, think we'll discuss weaning me off them. Had them since September and they've really helped me through a sticky few months and kept me on an even keel. But I am feeling much more myself these days.

We need to take some of the wooden track upstairs as cant get the lid on the box :o but he does have a second set up there, so that's my next job.
