Hi there. It looks like everyone has been busy today! We've had sunny weather too, so got some washing out.

Today, did the usual breakfasts for us, cats and birds outside (it's been quiet at the tables for a couple of days), did a S&S of bathroom and kitchen, 2 x WM, and a general dust and tidy, walked next door's dogs, then had a friend round for coffee while OH fixed her laptop! (A long job for which he deserves a medal!!).

I treated him to a very late lunch at our local garden centre and treated us to some nice, and much needed, new plant holders for two giant plants we have that need re-potting. Did some shopping at Te@@@s then home to that much needed cuppa!

We intend to chill tonight with a computer game - won't need a meal, just a snack later as we are both so full!

Re Aquarian birthdays - Dusty - are you one too? And Mumof2, Happy Birthday for Monday! We are the nicest people in the Zodiac - also the most beautiful! Mine is Friday and I have five lunches or afternoon teas, three in one day, planned for next week, I'm going to be the size of a house if I don't watch it!!

Valli, that was funny about your DD, as I remember wanting nothing but a Meccano kit like my brother when I was 7 (showing my age here!), and being SO unhappy when I got a doll in a pram! I shook that pram all over the bumps in the road in my temper, when I was 'forced' to go out with it!!

I was repairing the record player when I was ten and insisted on studying Physics - I loved it. However, I discovered boys in my teens and then fancy hairstyles, make-up and mini skirts!!!

Well, off I go, but good health wishes all round for those feeling poorly, and 'you take care' vibes to Skint. I'm glad little Holly is doing so well. And Bossymoo, I'm so glad you are feeling more positive - what lucky children to have you as their mum. Here's more good wishes winging their way for you.

Just adding - have just read thread again - and Mumto5 - happy birthday to another fellow Aquarian! Have a fab day tomorrow. X
    Love, R x

Tots away to Bedfordshire, after putting toys away :D. Filed their "artwork" in the circular filing cabinet :rotfl: to be fair, they were just smudges of so much paint the paper was dissolving heheh.

Busy day tomorrow, dancing, then football, then a party in the afternoon.

My calendar seems to be filling up, but I can't get my head around things. In 4 weeks I'm on a weekend in Edinburgh, but it seems like months away. And things sneak up on me.

Then my mum said there's an offer on my fave sunscreen at the moment :D we haven't even booked our holiday yet! And it's 6months away!

Where is my brain? Probably under that pile of toys in the playroom...

ETA my DS is Aquarian too, as was my hubby, it would be his 37th birthday next Tuesday. Feels really strange that he'll never get any older yet I feel like about 100. And he was beautiful too!

Non flying related question - we have a Kenwood Chef and I'm in 2 minds whether to keep it or not. It's been in the loft for 4 years and I've only ever used it 3 times :o. I am however a lot more domesticated than I was and do like making cakes etc so I'm wondering whether to give it another go so I brought it down and cleaned it up. Do those of you who have one think they're good or just a pain that takes up too much worktop space?

I've got one that I want to re-home.. was given a sparkly new one for Xmas so feel the other could be made use of elsewhere but dispite advertising it on bookface (avoiding fleabay due to charges) for £35 (most attachments are still unused!) no one was interested so I'm tempted to take it to the local housing trust charity shop?
Anyone on here live nr Taunton, Somerset?? If you're interested I'd be happy to re home it with you for free! :)

Ok, I sorted the box of stuff I had been meaning to get through and found something I think most will find obscure - a stuffed crocodile and yes I do mean a real one! I had totally forgotten about him - aquired him when college was having a clearout so brought him home to freak the kids out :D
