Done a good hour in the garden
Old bed collected by ebayer
Bed collected by DH and our friend, it is a bit smaller (4' rather than 4'6") but with the mattress on top you can't really tell.
Off to get bedding in from the line to air and make up 3 beds and sort out where all the spare duvets can go.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I have had a rubbish flying time this week. Felt so shattered with all that has gone on at work. Feeling better now as I have had some positive vibes from colleagues and the troublesome two are being separated and moved to different offices :j
I have decluttered 14 items this week through ebay and sold DH's car after a couple of false starts. Lost a bit of time this morning picking up the buyer from the train which had been delayed but he was very nice and gave me an extra £5 to cover my petrol costs.
Today I have done WM x 3, hung some out and finishing it off in the TD. I have walked the furry one who is now snoozing and DS is having an xbox fest (nothing new there!).
Going to hoover downstairs now and wipe down the stairs (wooden) then think about tea for DH getting home.Make £10 per day in July £45.48/£310
June £232.66, May £310.36, April £310.19, March £287.32, February £250.18, January £257.24

Level 1&2 of kitchen list done. Dailies done. Work uniform washed.
The cat came in limping this morning but would not let me look at his leg. So took him to the vet as he wasnt eating or drinking. He has been bit by another cat. So two injections later and a few pound lighter. He has improved this afternoon and is eating and drinking. Im so pleased as I was worried about him.

For any of you not on Facebook (and who remember her) please keep Lady_Liberty in your thoughts - she is very ill, in hospital and mostly sleeping, according to Jinky.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

sorry to hear that
After dancing, football and a play gym party, my kids are still chasing each other round like nutters. I feel tired just watching them.. might have a quiet night just stitching and a spot of reading. I've not really eaten but cba. Might have another cuppa as they are OFF TO BED.

Happy birthday Mumto5. I hope you are having a super day.
Had a fairly easy day today. Breakfast for us, cats and birds (some sweet little blue tits today), a S&S all round, shower and 2 x WM, then off for a charity coffee morning. Got some more bits of grocery shopping, then took some more groceries to sick friend and stayed for a coffee with him.
Home by 2.30 and we were still full after the morning, so skipped lunch, and we've been lazing about with the cats! Been reading, playing computer games and snoozing.
Just a quick pizza and salad tonight, then a film. All good wishes to everyone, and good health wishes all round. Special thoughts and wishes for Lady Liberty - I've just seen Valli's post.

Honey Bear and Boddy - I hope your pets soon begin to feel better. Honey, I know your dog has been poorly for a while, so I hope her meds are helping her.
Boddy, my youngest cat got bitten by another last year, and had a big abscess over his eye. The vet gave him antibiotics and the thing burst after about four days, but he WAS a quiet boy during that time, he slept 23 hours each day.
Bless, they can't tell you what's wrong, can they, but, like me, I bet you can always tell!0 -
:jHope the birthday has been all:j Mumto5.
I'm another bossy Aries - actually a great 2nd in command but not good as a leader!!
Patchy, 'bitty' day today after plans to catch up on flying after a busy week. At least as we're going for an Indian with friends soon, it's made me tidy the lounge in case anyone comes back for coffee.
Got all organised for tomorrow's lunch - horse trainer coming to work with OH and 2 friends (and their horses of course). Veg soup went well, but had a bit of a disagreement with the aga thermostat and the cupcakesI think some of them are salvageable but somewhat.....darker......than anticipated. Because of my boring food intolerances I have to use wheat-free flour and sometimes it doesn't work as well as normal. Did a mega shop this morning on the way back from collecting my car from garage (AGAIN but this time they seem to have fixed its kangaroo tendencies).
Still got paperwork to catch up on; working my way towards possible self-employment means I'm slotting freelance work around normal work and flying - it's all a bit much for my poor little blonde brain.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Special thoughts for LadyLibery
DD's birthday pressie came today whilst she was at her Dads so I've had a bit of a play - I'm in love! Can't say what I got incase she reads this lol
They are back from seeing their Dad, DS is fed up and tired so he's having a bath soon and then bed.
I have sorted out the bathroom cupboard today, put a couple of smelly sets in the gift drawer. Also changed 2 beds and had a tidy up in our room
Hope those poorly animals get better quickly, our dog is feeling his age, he can't go for very long walks anymore as it knackers him out for a few days

Aww, I had a doggie for Xmas when I was nine. We were best friends for 15 years. He was only small, so in his latter years, when he decided he was too tired to walk home after sniffing his way round the field, he would just sit looking at me till I picked him up and carried him home tucked under my arm :rotfl:
He would then get in his basket, with his yellow blanket (always had to be yellow) and refuse to budge for the rest of the day. He was my baby. As a pup he would go in my dolly cot and even let me put bonnets on him that my mum had knit for my dolls...Bossymoo
