:coffee: at last! Please help yourselves :coffee::coffee::coffee:

The frog is still not quite done but another hour and I should be rid of it. I am happy because I found out how to make an icon from our logo and add it to the browser tabs on our web pages - it adds to the professional look - and also ironed out most of the formatting problems :D

I have also filled in a list of dates when we are available for duty at the Cathedral and packed up 2 eB@y parcels ready to post this afternoon. One more item will sell this evening for collection in person, so that's easy.

I have tidied upstairs, S&S's bathroom and kitchen, sorted the washing and done the first load, and hung DH's trousers and jeans out on the line to blow - for the first time this year! The woodpecker didn't like me disturbing his elevenses and flew off: they are very shy.

PP, your picture link made me laugh out loud :rotfl:

Having a really productive day today - stripped the kids beds, sorting washing and had it going, did our bed all before leaving for school this morning. Since I got back I've done all 5 of my typing jobs so they're out of the way now finishing lunch and have to run some errands at our local town. Then flying will commence!

    Hi all

OK, today is going to be “fun” - trying to do the bedroom with two very swollen fingers on my right hand that hurt like Hel if I so much as touch them, and a wrist splint on my left hand to try and protect the weird lump on my left wrist and keep it immobile so that it doesn't hurt quite so much.

I've already had a game with Megan (imagine a rather portly, elderly Labrador acting like a 3-month-old puppy):rotfl: which resulted in me getting half a binful of loose fur off her – unfortunately her owners didn't send any grooming kit, so I'm doing the best I can with just my hands. Maybe I could do with PenPen's link.....:D Of course now the carpet needs vacuuming again.

LL how lovely to “see” you; sorry to hear that you've been so poorly.

    Rowan Tree (((HUGS))) mate.

Mumto5 I hope you had a better night with DH snoring in a different town.

Helen (((HUGS))) to you mate; I do all our finances, and have to power to put a moratorium on spending – this was agreed when I moved in and sorted out the mess Mr LW was in. I told him, leave that side to me, and we'll never be in debt. Last week, for instance, I told him not to use the cash point without consulting me first until he'd been paid. I think some men have a blind spot when it comes to money.:( You know where my pm box is if you want to sound off.;)

Hoppy Birdday to Mr Ionafan – hope you enjoy your evening ot.

I was thinking of Cambridge Sciences from Amaz@m or maybe Asus EEE from Argos - could someone please help me - pretty please x x

Flying - I've been very good and I've hoovered everywhere, dusted tv, cleared coffee table, washed up, had coffee and natter with Mum, tidied kids rooms

PC now running quietly (though it has never been as bad as it was when I was asked, by a work-related tech support person, if the noise he could hear over the phone was my PC!) and I have also removed everything from the bookcase behind me;(and behind PC) cleaned the bookcase, under it and around it, relocated barometer, dusted books, flung crap, changed broken file box for functional file box and :eek:ed at the dust bunnies - a WARREN! PC desk cleaned, front door wiped too. ('Office' is, in effect 'hall')

Not cleaned where I am supposed to though. But still, was a frog, really, well Cane Toad...

Helen - ask on the techie thread.;)
    Happy Birthday Mr Ionafan

Helen I agree, hop over to the techie board. I've heard some good reports of Asus, but never used their products myself. My own netbook and laptop are both HP; the netbook is of course smaller, and has no integral CD drive (I have a separate one that plugs into a USB port).
