Managed to drive myself to docs and Mr T's. had to park away from the hoards though. Finger is on the mend. Has anyone had AF visit very early whilst on penicillin? Only 10 days gap.
Got easy to prepare food for next 3 days. Emptied laundry baskets but they have soon filled up again.
Cleared up biscawheat crumbs. Kitchen looked like someone had been throwing their breakfast around like confetti.
Took letter to gp to get letter for DS1 to take on plane. Ordered prescriptions, collected prescriptions, swopped wrong meds, managed more one handed washing up, supervised DS2 homework, etc
Hugs to all in need xx0 -
lamewolf I think my DH is your DH's twin. Last night for me involved trying to sleep with DH producing thunderous whiskey induced snores shaking the bed. My DH is in Liverpool tonight and I am looking forward to a quiet nights sleep.
It feels wierd not going to work today. I went shopping to get wallpaper swatches, fabric swatches and and paint for the main bedroom. Tomorrow I am going in search of new flooring.
Hugs to everyone having a rough time. Congratulations to all who have munched their frogs.0 -
Rowan Tree - hugs
Kids in bed and asleep, DH home and in bed [feeling very sorry for himself]
I'm tired but too wired to sleep - no idea why, it must be the fresh air I had today, I can't settle to anything! I'm blaming AF
Busy day tomorrow, lots of housework needed, kids doing various after school activities, I'll prob get the chance to sit down for 5 mins when its time to go to bed lol.
I'm fed up with discussing lack of money with DH so I'm just going to sort the finances out myself and when he wants to go and buy some beer he can go try and sell his body to make some money - humph, I'm getting the hump with him big time, I'm also going to look for a job no matter what he thinks, he's informed me tonight that it was his idea to stop overtime not his bosses, he knows how hard up we are but he thinks its ok to not earn enough money, right, enough now, I'm getting angry and I need some sleep so I'm going to do Dustys 2nd challenge in my head whilst lying in a bed as far away from DH as poss!!!
Hope Holly is ok

Every time I've just made the decision to take back the power I gave up without realising what that meant ... it worked.helen_jelly wrote: »Rowan Tree - hugs

EchoingRowan Tree (fabulous person) and Holly Skint (((Megahugs and thoughts))). Dancemum Not sure of your age, but if it's anywhere near mine was a while ago, AF behaved erratically for a couple of years and then, thankfully - left. Permanently. While she came and went, she did that so erratically I had absolutely no idea what she thought she was playing at.Better is good enough.0 -
Hi again
Just a quick post to say 'thank you' for all your kind comments - it really has made me feel better. Betsie, Mumof2, Dusty, Honey Bear and Helen Jelly, thanks especially to you and Helen, I do hooe things turn around soon for your OH's health and work. Honey, that was a lovely thing you said, thank you.
I am generally positive, but things just got on top of me today. I'm okay now, getting to bed late as the new cat STILL(!) hasn't learnt how to use the cat flap, so I let him out from the conservatory and he was enjoying himself so much chasing shadows round the lawn I sat, wrapped up in a blanket, and watched him!
Done an extra tidy and DW tonight as we've got a visitor tomorrow morning, so we are extra tidy tonight!
Thanks again and all warm wishes to you lovely fly people. R x0 -
Gods, I am Ex-Haust-Ed!!:( Zero sleep last night; Mr LW treated himself to a whisky, and was therefore snoring like a pneumatic drill all night. Even my deafness didn't protect me, so loud it was!
Anyways, the bathroom has been sparkled up, and the Dys0n has removed yet another tonne of chocolate-brown fur from the carpets. The amount she's shedding, I'm surprised Megan has any fur left!!:D
She's had her tea, and is currently resting on the mat by the patio door; she was snoozing there earlier - goodness knows what she was dreaming about, but her legs were going nineteen to the dozen; maybe she thought she was chasing a cat.:o
Lamewolf: my OH was snoring a couple of nights ago and I must have pushed him, while I was half asleep to get him to turn over, and when he did he said I shouted 'hurrah!'. Don't remember any if it!! R x0 -
Well, am wide awake which is not good as have 21/2 hour drive this morning for meeting. So made a cup of tea and hoping to drift off soon.
Been bit rubbish on flying this week.....although have now eaten 2 frogs! Done my tax return and made appointment with solicitor to discuss ex who is refusing to increase maintenance as per court order. An annual battle which makes me feel ill.
My sister comes every other week to help me in house. Yesterday was her day and house looks sparkling! I always try so hard to maintain it but by end of 2nd week it's all fallen by the wayside. Anyway whilst waiting for kettle to boil I gave lounge quick tidy thru, pumped cushions etc. I know I should do a bit every day but always seem to run out of time. And I don't want to eat into habit of getting up at 3am to do it !!2015 £2 Saver #82

My DH is in Liverpool tonight and I am looking forward to a quiet nights sleep.
Mine is back and it is playing havoc with my sleep. Then he turned the alarm off this morning, did not get up so I'm 15 minutes behind schedule and not impressed.
Out for a lot of the day but will be popping in an out to keep an eye on you all so no slacking! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
