Dusty - Do you know If I do it online, will it highlight to DVLA that I haven't got an MOT, or will it just inform me? - am hoping to get OH's done next week instead if we can put it off for a few days, but don't want to flag up on their system

I don't know - mine had ran out 7 plus months ago:eek: I doubt it does as it could be an error, it just says it cannot find a record of it (garage could have entered it incorrectly etc) and they don't know you are driving the car anyhow. I wouldn't worry.

    Thanks Pigpen

I have a DD who is being horrid - can't wait till she grows up a bit

more gibble listed on Fleabay - aiming for between 8 and 10 bits a day, hopefully I'll have the stuff in the house listed by the middle of Feb and then I can start on the garage stuff, we need the pennies to help towards bills in March as DH isn't getting paid for being off work [he'll get SSP but that doesn't even buy food for 2 weeks!!!] I'll have to cancel some DD's and play catch up in April, he's also been risk assessed and had overtime taken away - never rains but pours!

Tea done for kiddies need to wash up now

Hi everyone .. I just wanted to echo what Ian said ... thank you for remembering Diva she would love to know she was still a part of the flylady family.

I'm not sure I keep Ian sane perhaps it's a joint venture because he certainly keeps me going .. he is the most wonderful caring friend I could ask for xx

Sorry I haven't been around for ages I have been pretty sick & getting weaker, frequent visits to The Marsden take their toll but I think of you all often.

Lots of love to all xxx

    Hi all
Just wanted to drop by and say thank you to everyone who remembered MoneySavingDiva today. Your thoughts and kind wishes are really appreciated. Great to see lots of candles lit too.
Special thanks to LL who does a very good job of keeping me sane!
Best wishes to everyone. Diva would love the fact that you kept her purple avatar too.
    :)

Lady Liberty that is kind of you and Ian to drop by. I have a dreadful memory so the fact that I remember Diva's posts says something very special about her. Wishing you happy days x

Take care Lady Liberty; so sorry you are sick and having to go to The Marsden a lot (((hugs))). You're a very special lady, as was Diva, and never forget it :).

Sorry everyone seems to be having a rough time of it; I always find January hard myself. Hope Holly Skint's operation went well.

GTG - be back later ....

  • Well, I logged on here to have a rant and a good moan about being taken for granted and being general dogsbody for some people, then spoken to as if I were an idiot, but have been humbled by recent posts.

Lady Liberty, I never 'knew' you or Diva, but you are so loved by the fly ladies here, and I join in with my heartfelt good wishes.

Good health wishes to all those many fly ladies and their loved ones who are undergoing and/or waiting for tests or treatment. Special thoughts to Skint and baby Holly, I do hope you are soon settled back at home and Holly thriving.

I've had another two days of cleaning, shopping, washing etc for me and others, plus dog walking, and have hardly had a minute to myself. In truth, I want to sit and cry, but will plod on - our (late) meal is now ready.

Good vibes and good flying to everyone, R x

Rowan Tree I hope you can schedule in a bit of me time for tomorrow. Please remember one of my favourite saying of putting your own oxygen mask on first!

So pleased to have finished and sent report number 2. On a role so going to sort out the files and paper hiding the dining room table. Also need to iron a shirt for DS2 for tomorrow but I can do that in the morning if necessary.
