    griddled pineapple is lovely - especially with a hint of chilli. Very forgiving towards over ripe fruit and great with ice cream

    oh I never even thought of just baking the pineapple ... good for me but I don't think the boys will eat it as theres no "cakeiness" ... bloomin kids :o

    It'll come up nicely on a not too hot BBQ - you never know, the kids might go for it based on the novelty factor of BBQ'd fruit.

    Pineapple upside down cake is the first thing that springs to mind. Not having a particularly sweet tooth, I'd make a pineapple guacamole to serve with tacos or tortillas....slurp.

    Do they like pizza?? I love pizza with ham and pineapple on it,or fruit kebabs? Threadle grapes,pineapple,apples,bananas onto skewers.
    Pineapple upside down cake is nice too :)


    I just dehydrated 3 yesterday lovely dried too

    mmm pineapple upside down cake sounds nice ... any idea what I would do ? ... we are very sweet toothed so defo a dessert ;)

    boys don't like pizza in anyway ... fussy bloomin kids ..

    my mam does have a one of those machines thatbdries things out as my dad bought it from akeland for her a couple of years ago but its still in the boomin box ... just made me think I should mebbies have a look at that for future use :D
