Hi Mackeroo and Shaggy,
Firstly a big thank you for both of you for all the counting and time and effort that you put into monitoring this all, its appreciated. Mackeroo's step down has made me wonder if there is a simpler way of us being responsible for our counting. It is time consuming for one person. I would have liked to offer but I am chasing my tail too much in real life too and as you may have noticed am posting much less frequently.
May I suggest that we scrap the SNC for now (unless someone is willing to take it over) but if we invidivually want to do that then we post it on our signatures each week (that requires little more effort than posting), for those have nailed their challenges and it has become habit then there is no need to report for the SNC anymore.
For everyone else how about we count our weekly AF days and submit them on a night that is most convenient for Shaggy to update, therefore making this task more of a weekly thing than daily.
I am worried that now we have so many members of this thread that the work and effort of counting will eventually shoot ourselves in the foot as it becomes more time consuming to monitor.
Does that make sense? In essence I am trying to say we all start to share the ownership of this.
Anyway its only a suggestion...........Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -
22/24 AFDs and 53 in total.
Cancelled my dance class as.... I just felt too tired. I'll be doing my 5k run tomorrow morning, so don't feel too guilty. Fingers crossed it's not raining. Last week's 5k ParkRun was called off because part of the route was flooded. The water has receded now, but it wouldn't take much rain to flood the redways again, and even a bit of rain would make it horribly muddy - yuk.
It has been great to run without a hangover. Hangovers reduce lung-power, which isn't great.
I'm starving, and my feet are freezing. I hope I've got enough cocoa to make a hot chocolate.
Hope no-one's being stalked by the drink demons? Wishing you oodles of willpower if you are.
Hugs xWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
22/27 for me today and 53 in total. Will be having a drink tomorrow for first time since NYE as it's a friends Stag Do tomorrow, but will be back on the wagon on Sunday, also intend in pacing myself and stopping at some point tomorrow, rather than drinking for the sake of it.0

My next AFD is sunday... I am looking forward to it!Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

An evening watching TV (and bidding on an item on ebay - I won!) means I clocked up another AF Friday :A Nothing planned for tonight - though we might go and see Lincoln - so it will probably be another AFD.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
