Just off on the school run (with a clear head I might add).
5 AF days and 2/4 SNC so far, saw mental health liaison nurse yesterday which was okay i suppose. She's referring me to anxiety management or low mood group, no funding I suppose for her to see me, hey ho sometimes no amount of talking helps so im keeping an open mind. Life is good, just hate being depressed/anxious.

2/21I forgot in my plans for the month that Tues nights are date night with OH. Have told him am not planning to drink at home and he is pretty much on board. So with some grit and determination am hoping to be AF for the next 6 nights. After half a bottle of wine and then another whilst watching a film could have murdered another one. The film was about an alcoholic pilot and that seemed to put me off after a while!Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0

Well done arsenalbarnie. You have done the first 2 days, whoop whoop. That's a really good start and you should be proud of yourself. Your target belongs to you and no-one else, this is not a race or a game. What you want to achieve is paramount to success. Be realistic and allow yourself a life, if you have an OH like I have, if you are reasonable with their needs it helps to get them on your side, otherwise arguments can happen. Further down the line, you may decide to be AF on Tuesdays, see how it goes, you are going in the right direction so well done. Oh, and thanks for joining our gang, a big welsh welcome to you.

Cuppa Tea so nice to hear your voice (read your post). Hope you find time to rest, my nurse told me yesterday that I need to learn to pace myself. Because when I get a surge of energy I overdo it and then collapse with exhaustion. I'm not saying you are the same, but it really made me think. You are doing really well, and whenever you want to post feel free, I will read them along with everyone else, and it is lovely to keep in touch, because we worry when we don't hear things sometimes. Good luck with all your jobs, and remember to look after yourself. Take care.
