oh My:o:o:o
have wine, have wine, was what I meant!!!! bloomin touch phones - i have fat fingers all the time but not usually with such unintended results!
jak, have you thought about turning up at school pick up just a little bit later than usual so you avoid bumping into everyone who unsettles you. I know it's only a short term strategy but whilst you are feeling so vulnerable it might not be a bad idea just to avoid the situation.Trying to keep in budget.

4/24 AF
41, I find chamomile tea a good option instead of tea or coffee, and I've also switched to de-caf for both tea and coffee.
I was feeling incredible anxious today, all because I'm procrastinating about a big paperwork exercise I need to do. It's stupid, and I keep telling myself off, but I'm still avoiding it.
On the other hand, today I saved myself £200+ on my car service by telling Kwikf1t that I'd get another quote for fitting disc brakes, pads, and 2 tyres. On their own website the tyres were £20 cheaper, so that was the first thing they had to reduce. Then I checked at a garage I used to use, and Kwikf1t came close to matching their quote. Result :-)What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Just got back from the gym which involved a 40 minute walk back in the rain/blizzard (which the forecasters had been reminding me all day would happen). Of course, in my infinite wisdom I'd decided that although a waterproof jacket was necessary to brave the elements, a pair of jeans would also be suitable attire for the occasion...
On the trek home I couldn't help but notice just how many pubs were along the route. Each time I passed one the debit card in my soaking jeans pocket seemed to rub against my leg - a sign perhaps?
Anyway, temptation didn't kick in and I made it home sober and not a penny poorer (although maybe a bit damp). With the walking and swimming combined I reckon I've burnt just over 1000 calories. Compared with the +600 calories of wine that a couple of months ago would have normally been consumed by this point on a Monday evening, I think that's pretty good going :A
Another bonus was that I managed to grab myself a pane of double glazing that someone had left by the road side. Perfect for making a coldframe in the garden for this years seedlings! All in all - very pleased with myself!0 -
Well done Figtree its seems like it was a win win situation this eve for you:T

Jak - I agree with gien, I often turn up to the school gates close to being late. It helps avoid the mummies .

Had a weird dream of being in a function at a pub, don't know which one. I was offered this cocktail drink in a bottle called Mia it was so real. Drank it it contained sloe gin and cream and something else. Then I realised that I wasn't drinking anymore and it was too late. Woke up thinking I'd let everyone down but I was so relieved that it was just a dream, however once I'd drunk that one drink I vividly remember that I thought in my dream well I might as well have another. It's okay at least it didnt happen in real life. Thought I'd share this.
