Not sure if anyone here watches Game of Thrones (great series by the way!) but the best line ever is from my favourite character, Tyrion. He said... (imagine a very crisp well spoken English accent)

"It's not easy being drunk all the time... Everyone would do it, if it were easy"

Tyrion Lannister (George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones)

I'm sure you can do it! Why not plan a good pampering session and an early night. Have some comforting hot chocolate instead of the wine. Good Luck!

Thanks, I've managed it (despite hubby suggesting I had a glass). Again kept busy which seems to be the key. Have been to a class and wrapped my eldest's birthday presents for tomorrow, just finished now in time for bed. Have called off a full party tea since hubby will be off to work afterwards and have reduced it to coffee and cake so I will have no reason to have a glass of wine.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Welcome back off your hols, good luck with the AF-ness now :)

Well, I got off the mark last night with my first AF for the month :j so that is 1/10

I feel for you lamarsi - a lot of the times I give in to a drink is because of boredom - I am trying to keep busy with jobs around the house in the evenings to stop me succumbing but sometimes, after a hard day at work, all I want to do is curl up on the sofa and relax - that is when I get tempted :o.

Have a good day all :)

I'm the same - boredom...I'm trying to get my fella to come over more often as I don't drink then!

    3AF please Shaggy
