What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

4 now please!! I think I'm the first to post my next AF night because of that.. I'm on nights!
thank you for the advice about the cow I work with.. I wouldn't let her drive ME to drink, but she's just informed me that she found over 70 empty wine bottles in the cupboard under her stairs so by the looks of it she's driving some poor soul to it

But seriously, I know from experiance how easy it is to use people and situations like her as an excuse to knock a few back as I've done it in the past but she really isn't worth the bother!!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!! :D

    4/15 :j

Despite being naughty and buying wine this evening, it has not even made it to the fridge and remains unopened so that makes another AF night for me! :T

It's strange. I have barely had a night AF for two years and now, the more nights off I have, the more I like it! That begs the question why I still have that burning urge to buy/drink wine when I am beginning to dislike how it makes me feel, sooooo much. I guess this is some sort of transition period?

I'm off to bed now - night all x

    Morning :hello:

Well, I fully intended to have a drink Friday but our plans got cancelled so I ended up having an AF Friday plus I added another last night - so 2 more for Sober September.

    Hi all

    Long time no see :)
I've been on holiday with the kids, and came back yesterday - I've read back, your all doing great!
Shaggy, can I set a target of 10 days for Sep please, and 2AF to report :)
I am going to try to have the rest of the month of off drinking, it didnt help coming home to a houseful of alcohol!
I let my BIL have a party here, he thought leaving me the leftovers was a good payment!!!
I said I'd aim to keep it for Xmas, ahem!!!

    Tracy x
