can't add another AFD, as had two pints of beer with dinner, but as it was after a visit to Auschwitz, I think I was quite restrained. Wanted to sob and sob.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    sorry about your voice 41.
I know what you mean about not fitting in - I think we all feel like that on occasion, I certainly do, it's important to focus on the people who we do like and who like us.

alcohol wise the past few days have been OK - Sunday and Monday were not AF but I managed to keep it to one glass over dinner. Instead of sitting after we've finished eating and having another glass or two of wine, we got up and put the bottle back in the fridge.
Tonight I am AF, although it's killing me!!!
    Trying to keep in budget.

15/22 AF days for me please.

I have made a decision (monumental in itself!) to go AF for the whole of June except one day, DHs birthday.

I am trying to save £1 per day towards my mortgage, plus any other scraps that come along. So far I have £36 in my pot for May due to small(£15) lottery win at work. If I manage 29 AF days in June, I am going to double whatever I save and include it in the overpayment. I am part of the £1 a day thread on the MFW forum, so it helps. Also stuck some things on ebay yesterday, so anything I get from that will go towards it too.

I feel quite positive about it as I think putting the money, that would have been spent on alcohol, into something so useful, is a real incentive.

I am going away for 2 nights now and there will be no alcohol available so those nights are a given, but I'm off to an Undertones concert in Camden on Friday so have designated that night for a drink or two (hopefully not three)!

    Kind regards
    Slowdown:)

21 AFDs for me, now 51 in a row.

Have decided that I am going to have a weekend drinking nice ales in country pubs in July after exceeding 100 days and then back to the program.

Been on antibiotics since last week, which always make me feel rough. So not been able to walk much recently, or even do the usual 50-60 miles/week but am going to try 6 today.

Hi everyone. Have drunk every day this month so far so epic fail. I have also not been on here which is probably why. When I visit this place regularly (like every day) I feel so much better and can manage to stay AF quite easily. Not v proud of myself. Going to be on holiday next week so will drink but will aim to be moderate. Will get back on the wagon after that. Planning on an AFD tomorrow and will report in.

Mightily impressive. I'm in the 110 area but wasn't counting after my initial 6 week period until I went AF again from April 1st.
