Just catching up after my weekend in Sunny Swansea. Not AF but sensible, social drinking. I'll be back on the wagon tonight.:)
  • Okay, not going to drink for a long while. I am just coming out of a hangover from coming home gone 3 on sunday morning. I went to gps and ended up on thyroxine for subclinical hypothyroidism which means i feel like carp so they are trying it to see if i feel better. And also i got anti-reflux med to try if my sore and lumpy throat improves. I feel good at present and hope you all do too. Will NOT be drinking tonight defo so declaring early 19 AF days/30

Tesco Credit Card £250 £25 DD 0% for next 10 months.

Barclaycard Initial £241.45 0% for next 7 mths.

Now on 3/8 AF days. Whoop Whoop!

I hope I can make it 4 by midnight tonight. Don't often drink on a Monday so should be ok. DH has decided not to drink Mon - Thurs so this should really help me. Bit worried I will get to Friday and blow the lot in one night. Not a good idea but I'm a bit of an all or nothing girl.

One step at a time hey.

    Good luck this week everyone.
    Kind regards
    Slowdown:)

That's a great start slowdown and good news that your OH is joining in. Over time you'll probably find it impossible to 'blow the lot in one night' as your tolerance will drop and you'll fall asleep! For now, I wouldn't worry, just focus on clocking up those AF days. Hope you get your 4!

    9 AFDs please Shaggy.

    22 AFDs please Shaggy.

Waiting in for the plumber today to take a look at this hot water situation lol.

The car key snapped last night when OH was at the previous house picking up some final bits, he had to leave the car and get a cab back

I'd nagged him a bit before to get another key cut as this one had bent and looked a bit flimsy (and of course, we had no spare lol), but he'd never got it done.

Good job we're picking up our new car this week, although looks like this one will be going to the scrapyard :o

    Hi all

I too had a bad drinking weekend, but jumped back on the wagon last night, so finally up to 9AF please Shaggy

Why is it that I am really happy in my home life, but still want a drink? Think its probably all work related, been really stressful :(

Oh well, must try harder!! Slap wrists

Today was a planned drinking day for me. Ironically I decided not to have one with lunch out so had fizzy water and a coffee instead. This was a considered decision as was off to a theatre matinee afterwards and last time I fell asleep during performance.:( Had a couple tonight though and enjoyed them. This was me being in control as I'm really not good with lunchtime drinking, although admit it's tempting when sitting in the sun!

Back on the wagon tomorrow. :Tfor everyone who's clocked up an AF day today.
