I had two evenings of drinking over the weekend, but on the journey up and the journey back, I didn't even consider having a drink, even though I was getting the train and not driving. A real shift in my mindset.

    Hi Lilith

I think it's The Brink. A nephew of mine volunteers there, he's a recovering addict and is very passionate about helping others to break their addictions.

  • 3 AF days, so stuffed after a curry, haven't got energy to say anything sensible lol. I'm going to bed and I am enjoying my sober evenings, long may they continue.

    3/30 AFDs for me.

After a very informative chat with one of DH's nephews, I have just booked flights to a wedding near Krakow in May. DH is talking about having a hangover on the day after - I'm talking about NOT having a hangover, go me!

Sounds like a good plan and a nice break plus you'll have extra cash to enjoy yourself.

I had my AF night as planned

    1 AFD please Shaggy.

Feels good to get one on the board and I'm delighted how easy I found it to jump back on the wagon.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Didn't realise there was a thread for this. Can I join please? I stopped alcohol for an indefinite period on Monday but the objective is 30 days for April.

Pushing out the MSE welcomewagon.gif for you. I'll put you on the April Challenge List and Good Luck! welcome-wagon.gif
