    Morning everyone,

I didn't manage any more than 5 AFD's last month but I don't think I did too bad for a first attmempt (although could have been miles more if I'd tried).

So this month, I was debating whether to join in again or not as this month hasn't started off too good and it's also 10 days til DH gets paid.

Anyway I am here and I pledge 10 AFD's this time around.

Welcome to the club spongy, they're a helpful lot here :D

Well done!! I only managed 7 AFD's and like you, considering I was drinking every night is a good attempt. Good luck for April x

Please put me down for 1 AF achieved.

Not having a sweet tooth I find soft drinks instead of alcholol can be a bit sickly. Anyway last night I was pleased and surprised to discover prune juice which is not too sweet and has a slight resemblance to red wine so not bad for a non alcoholic substitute with dinner.

Does anyone have any other soft drink ideas that are not too sweet?

Spongy -Lime & Soda with ice? Or I like Blackurrant & soda, very weak, don't like diluting juices too strong. I drink green tea all day along with a couple of coffees in the morning so I tend to only stick to hot choc at night and perhaps water with my dinner but I am not a person for drinking with dinner (unless its wine)

I may treat myself to blackurrant and soda tonight :rotfl:rather than hot choc

I sometimes buy eisberg which is non-alcoholic wine. If it's really chilled it doesn't taste far off the real thing and that's what I'm intending to have tonight as a treat!

Usually on a friday I'm down the pub from 5 and p1ssed by 9 and then feel awful/achieve nothing for whole of saturday but tonight I'm going straight to supermarket to do big shop and then coming home and doing a workout dvd before making dinner and having some eisberg and an AF night in!

Boss, why are you stuck in your flat?
    .

I've been ill with ulcerative tonsilitis for nearly 2 weeks now. Fortunately past the stuck in bed all day stage, just waiting for the antibiotics to finish the job and then get out of my system.

This all said, I suprised myself by being able to walk 7 miles today so going to go back to trying to do 12 tomorrow.

Still alcohol free in April :)

Hi all, 4 AFDs for me please Shaggy :)

Picked up a real bargain off ebay, bought a solid oak sideboard for £35 - I have never owned a bit of furniture made of solid wood before so I am really excited. It will look good in whichever new place we end up in :o

I'm looking forward to eventually buying some more solid oak furniture (coffee table, book cases) so fingers crossed more bargains come along lol.

Hope everyone has had a good week, looking forward to the weekend :j

    Debt-free and Proud!
macpep1 - I usually have a hot chocolate or a nice cold tonic water with a slice of lime and some ice. Good luck!

maman - I just want the debt gone am chucking every spare penny at it now. Just wish I remember this every time I pick up a bottle of wine, I am sure I would be a lot closer to being debt free if I hadn't spent so much on wine  you really would think it should be more of a motivator!

41 Have a lovely holiday, hope the weather stays dry and sunny for you!

OK so I am going to declare 1 AFD please Shaggy :D I have been for a run, had a lovely home made curry for tea and am now snuggled with a hot choc. Just hoping that DD isn't too late wanting picking up I am ready for bed now!
