Thanks Mari, I have been having a hot choc each night don't know what's wrong with me tonight!! YOu know hubby is on his way to the supermarket for wine for me but I am going to put it in the fridge for tomorrow and have a hot choc, he will go nuts when he comes back and I tell him I don't want it now as we were just settling down to watch Revolution . If I manage this tonight, it will be a major hurdle crossed, knowing there is wine in the fridge but resisting!!!!:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Am having the cravings tonight, have already done all my food shops and didnt buy any wine but feeling it tonight
what does every one else do for cravings, haven't missed it until tonight
Just substituted it for ginger ale, tonic water, lime cordial, Irn Bru and Pepsi etc. I've always enjoyed these sort of drinks so it's not felt like I am missing out.0 -
5/30 AFDs for me. I'm visiting my family in Liverpool for my granddaughter's 9th birthday. As I have to chauffeur people about, there's no danger of falling off the wagon this weekend.
Sorry to hear you've been poorly, Boss, that sounds painful. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Morning :hello:
A Friday AFD for me :A.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Good morning, checking in from a very sunny but frosty South West
I am glad to have got my first AF day done for April, but had such a bad nights sleephad an awful nightmare and woke DH up shouting for help! Hopefully it's just part and parcel of my body getting the last weeks toxins out of it's system!
So today I have more taxi runs to do so am determined to make it AFD number 2. The sun is out and I have got the washing on and am going to get outside today and tire myself out in hope of getting a better nights sleep tonight!
satchmo1 - Have a lovely time with your Granddaughter and other family this weekend
The Boss - Hope you are starting to feel better. I know what you mean about having alcohol in the house, that is the thing that I find hardest.
Lilith1980 Any news on the house, keeping my fingers crossed for you. Oak furniture is lovely, well done on your find
macpec1 - How did you get on?
Hope everyone else is ok and ready for the weekend! Have a lovely sunny Saturday

Hi Mari, no news on the house yet
Rang them the other day and they were waiting for a bit more info on our income/employment references. My manager was really quick to reply to them and the man processing our application is back in the office today so I am hoping we will hear by early next week. Getting a bit nail-biting at the moment.
Given up on hoping for hot water but it's not as cold as it was so that's a bonus
5 AFDs for me please Shaggy
I feel really proud about the furniture - mainly because when I was drinking I had no spare money to buy nice things at all. So to be able to direct my money on making a nice home for myself and OH is really satisfying
Lovely blue skies here, off to pick up the sideboard this afternoon0
