Princes parkrun - 10th 5k parkrun of 30 this year

I managed to join the Liverpool parkrun in Princes Park, although it was touch and go whether I'd get there. A series of misadventures including road closures and fuel shortage tried to get in the way - but I didn't let them defeat me. Princes Park has been restored over the last decade, and is now a lovely place. I managed a respectable time of 37:21.

later that morning I collected my son and grandson and had a lovely few hours at my mum's house. Grandson is such a sunny child, much like his dad was at that age (nearly 3).

Sunday
Today is my granddaughter's 9th birthday. Here's great grandma, grandma and granddaughter.

After visiting granddaughter, me and my mum went out for an early dinner, which was very pleasant, especially when we shared a very chocolatey dessert.

I had wine last night, but I am not beating myself up over it, I am still within the government guidelines & that to me means more. I won't get my dancing banana now, unless I have an AF Saturday which isn't going to happen I don't think, as the next 2 Saturdays are my friends & our best mans surprise 40th Birthdays :eek:

We shall see what happens, anyway 5/25 for me please Shaggy as tonight will be AF

Hi all, hope everyone had a good weekend.

OK, well the letting agent have confirmed that we have passed all the checks , he just needs to ring the landlord today to make sure he still wants to go ahead. My OH physically went into the letting agent this morning to find out what was going on, they are so bad at keeping us up to date!

Hopefully by this afternoon we will have confirmation - eek!!

I'm firmly back on the wagon tonight and plan to get in at least three more this week. Thursday I'm out for lunch so probably have a little then.

macpep, don't worry about having a drink with your friends at their parties. I think I'm right that you want to cut down and stay in advised limits not give up. You've got plenty of time to plan ahead.;)
