Happy to change your target if you want...

Oh can I do that, thank you Shaggy can you change it to 23 please, going out for a meal tomorrow for my cousins 18th but planning to not drink with my indian.

Great news on the house Lilith, I got some good news of my own last night, my hubby has another job, one he really wanted, he was asked in January if he would take voluntary redundancy or move to another depot (this involved moving over 200 miles away). His job is very unsecure, he was told to look for work by his manager as place was going downhill. He works as a freight train driver, had already been for an interview with a passenger train company & never got it but he was head hunted a few weeks ago & asked to attend an interview, he got a call yesterday, he was like a pig in muck last night :D. All subject to medical, disclosure scotland check & references but all will be fine. I was so so pleased for him especially as he had his hopes built up.

    9/30 AFDs for me.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

There needs to be a 'Giving up/cutting down ice cream' thread now. If Sainsburys don't take Green and Blacks and Ben and Jerry's off of offer soon then I fear I'm going to turn into a blob.

6 hours of reading back from my last AF posting in Sept 2012. That will teach me :o

About 80 pages worth of posts - I feel like I've read a whole book and really have a feeling for everyone that have joined since I last posted (I can't list everyone but Jak, 41 & mrsdee have really stood out).

Funny, because I have just finished my first fiction book in many a year ("Eleven" by Mark Watson - really made me think about relationship and our actions) and I seem to be in a very empathetic & caring state at the moment.

Really nice to see some familiar names and loads of new posters too. Lots of red and a real positive spirit - lots of people doing really well.:T

All through the read-back I've had the recollections of the fantastic feeling of the morning-after..... being AF! The sense of achievement before you've even got out of bed. Brilliant! Then 10 mins later, I find myself thinking "Nearly pub-o-clock. I'll read more on the tablet there." !!!!!!. It's like I'm not understanding why I'm reading this thread and that is about not doing that. :(

Anyway, I'm glad I've got back on here and thank everyone for posting everything they have. There is SOOOO much support and positivity here. It's not a magical cure, but what is. Maybe beer?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good luck to everyone on here, old and new. I hope you get whatever you came to find, and that if, even if just while you are reading/typing, you get to feel better about anything that is worrying you.:A

Hopefully I'll be putting some bold, red numbers back up here soon too.

Well done all, and "Thank You!" !:A:A

P.S. Cuppa - goes without saying.
Smoke-free since Jan 2012 :j Now its just the drink, and the weight, and life in general :p
