a lovely pub meal to celebrate my husband's birthday. He had beer, I had lime n soda. I didn't miss the wine.

Well done satchmo, that's quite an achievement.

cuppa, :T on keeping up the AFness. I think you need to have a conversation with 'Bill' and tell him how you feel. Why not plan a break for yourself in the next school holidays and just tell him you're expecting him to make childcare plans. You need to set ground rules or he'll keep taking the p*ss.

    Another for me tonight.

    3 AFDs please Shaggy.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Morning all :)

Nothing more to add on the AF front :( must get on here in the evening when I feel the urge instead of going and getting a drink! It's wet and grey here today, but lots to do inside, everyone is out so big clean and sort out is on the cards!

lilith - That's super news after all the worrying, so pleased for you :j

Cuppa - As maman says you really need to set some ground rules as that is just not on. If you can't sort it out yourselves I would really recommend mediation as a way forward to sort out to do with the children.

Hope everyone else is well, right best get started or I'll be on here all day!

    hi everyone.
have not been able to hop back on the wagon since returning from holiday, for some reason, which is frustrating, and so I am still on 0 out of my 16 target... Feeling annoyed with myself. No booze in the house now though, so aiming for AF today. Have been feeling quite despondent. However, I have an interview tomorrow which I am excited about so that's a great incentive to stay clear headed and wake up feeling positive!

    have a good day everyone!
Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

I know exactly how you feel, I seem to be being sucked back into having a drink more often than not. I am always better once I get a few days under my belt! Good luck with the interview tomorrow, will keep my fingers crossed for you :D

Hi all, thanks for your good wishes!!

8 AFDs for me please Shaggy :)

Think I have been feeling too relieved to feel happy, but now I am getting excited!

Van booked, and piano removal people booked. Just ringing all the important people like council tax, internet providers etc. It's going to be a busy 12 days but at least it will be done and dusted. We have some friends who have offered to help us move so we'll treat them to a takeaway afterwards lol, I like to think that me and the OH could do it on our own but it would probably take twice as long with my spindley arms lol :D
