LOL, I left my flyladying thread in good hands obviously as it's still here. Working and raising a new baby by myself didn't leave much time for posting here, I looked in every now and again though.

I definitely need to do a 27 fling boogie in every room but it's a bit difficult when they only collect the bins fortnightly!

You did, and I had it for just over 3 years .. it honestly didn't seem that long, I took over from Lil_me.. so it has done the rounds.. I think I joined just after you left. I hope you have everything sorted and settled in your life and your now not so littlies are doing well.

I need to bin everything except 27 things from each room I think, I need a serious whirlwind week in here.

I've not even put any washing in today!

I'm working in the Room of Doom - a last HH before dinner, cricket nets and collecting DS2 from school open evening.

Piggers my friend, I wish to all the gods I was healthy and mobile; I'd soon have your place sorted.;) When Mr LW was working in Rugby a few years back, he sorted out the RoD they were storing a bunch of computer stuff in, mostly obsolete stuff, the rest of it they had far more of than they could ever possibly need; and he was told he was scarily good at getting rid of carp. His reply: "You think I'm ruthless? You haven't met my wife!!":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm debating starting on the bedroom (Thursday's room here) but common sense says not to, as I still have Brain Training to do, and I have to have enough spoons left to cook sausage & chips for dins.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Good afternoon,

Sorry Lamewolf, I don't seem to have done the quote right as this doesn't say who the original poster was...

I'll have a read of the 'how to post' instructions again.... Back later to update properly :)

RofD definitely looks much worse than when I started as does Dining Room and landing. Will have to continue tomorrow!

Done nothing. Worked too many hours. Got a thumbs up from head of dept (he was still on phone) as I left so I presume all is well and I can actually switch off now. MIL has done some washing and ironing though :A

Off to bath kids then get them some supper, then will sort a list.

Oh! I did stop at butchers and he had some gammon left so got a joint in sc with cola :D

  • Well I did managed to do some flying this morning but you'd never know it know :(. DD, OH and dogs have trashed the kitchen, so that will need doing again after I have prepared dinner.

There is crumbs all over the hall as dogs found some crackers that OH had stashed in his bag. :wall:

I didnt get as much Studying done as I would have liked as ened up finishing of some Reports for work as I'm not in for 6 days and then fingers crossed will only have two days before I start on my placement :T and I hate leaving stuff for others to have to pick up.

Still feeling vile and ended up falling asleep whilst reading some stuff the afternoon but was woken up by the dogs, who keep barking everytime they hear a car  and DS wh.o couldnt find his phone charger

Need to go and start dinner but I have no engery to do it, so I'm feeling sorry for myself

    Driving and meeting decluttered

Have just decluttered :coffee: and caught up with my emails and the thread.

macpep, sorry I missed your post earlier - we both added ours at almost the same moment! I'm very sorry to hear that your DH didn't get the job he wanted. Yes, do investigate the rules further: it can't do any harm.

Thanks, well it's kind of made our minds up now, he is not putting his name forward for voluntary redundancy and is fighting for his position as mentioned, think he is going to CAB tomorrow, has your DH heard anything yet? X
