Morning Ladies
WM on 3rd load of bedding. Kitchen straight before I head out to work in a minute.
DS3 is in school minus crutches. His friends are delighted. We have spoken to his teacher and she gave the class a stiff talking to yesterday - no pushing, tripping up or wrestling as he is still a long way from fully recovered.
DD1 is in bed. I've left her ironing to be done on top of my ironing to be done. I hope she gets to the bottom of the basket as there is not much to do and I could do with a spare hour to remake the beds this afternoon.
Back later....0 -
Thanks Ionafan - safe journey today. I hope so too, because it's thrown my budget over the next few weeks completely out of whack. Email decluttered to recalcitrant lodgers demanding full payment. Email drafted to their boss, informing him/her of the situation (very satisfying) and safely lodged in Drafts box.
Birds fed (sparrows fantastically noisy this morning), lady blackbird very quiet but greedy and assorted other coloured ones busy on the feeders. Dog walked, filled with various medications, fed and settled back on her duvet, napping.
Bed stripped, vacuumed, bedding twirling in the machine, ensuite scrubbed to within an inch of its life, and ... breathe.Better is good enough.0 -
Yeah, I hope it works! I couldn't remember what it was called and originally went in to get witch hazel but the cream was sat next to it on the shelf so I bought it instead. Means the house won't stink of witch hazel due to DD spilling it
:rotfl:
You can get witch hazel cream, I get it for DS3's sore fingers, it is more for possible infection than bruising though, arnica is the one for bruises.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
back from mils, her birdbath thawed out and feeders refilled after thoroughly cleaning them, one was growing!!!!honestly it looked more like a sprouting seed container than a bird feeder.
solved the mystery of the bread 1 and a half loaves thrown on the drive -apparently they went stale before she could use them.
took glass recycling over to bottle bank for her.
popped in on a neighbour to check shes ok and have promised to go back tomorrow afternoon to put her bins out for her.
nicki hope DDs knee is ok and doesnt pop out again.
my god daughter used to have an elbow that did that once they go its easy to recur. hers went once playing ring o roses at sunday school
off to do something before workSPC~12 ot 124

Good morning everyone,:j hope your keeping warm.
Think i`ll make a start and join in if that`s o.k.
I`ve already made a start on todays jobs, but not sure if i`ll do mondays and tuesdays jobs as i`ll take it as it comes.
I did start my flying last year, and thought after a few weeks, I could try and do it on my own, but unfortunatly I lost all incentive and lost my cleaning mojo:sad:. So hoping to make a clean start and know i`ll be back to flying in no time, with your help:).

Not all of us.. I simply cannot be bothered which is why I am STILL her in my squalor and not living in some spotless show home.
I have been intending to clean out 2 cupboards this week and I haven't moved yet.. I've thrown out a fair bit of rubbish/recycling but nothing actually productive! I sold a few small bits too which is a bonus money wise but not made any difference to the clutter.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

mine isnt a spotless show home by any stretch of the imagination:rotfl:
its still cluttered with kids, dvds, games, wool, stitchy stuff, books and sometimes i cant see the dining table (which also serves as craft table/homeworkspot/dumping ground for all sorts) to actually clean it. but with the help of this thread i am slowly creating order out of chaos. following'ish' the lists i feel like im achieving something and it looks cleaner.
But mine will always be a 'lived in' home not a 'show house'
it will have made a difference PigPen after all its something you haven't got to deal with again. i cant say i will notice the space i created giving those bags of stuff to the animal sanctuary yesterday but i haven't got to step round them in the door way or fight the airing cupboard door to shut against them again.
:T
Glad you're back, havent 'seen' you around for a while:)SPC~12 ot 124

Been on my weekly walk with friend, it is slippery out there.
Just having a cuppa then need a shower and I'll put the WM on and decide on flying priority. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
It was all going so well!! Dusted master bedroom and landing, including cobwebs, lightshade, pictures, skirting, everything. Hoovered under bed, bedroom and landing. Turned hoover off and got ready to do stairs. Hoover died!! it will come on but only stays on while the button is being held and gets very hot so i have aborted the mission until DH can have a look at it this evening. Just what i need to have to spend out on a new one. Eventhough i have always hated it!! Really want a dyson or a henry. Any recommendations?Debt Free by Xmas 2013 No #131 £1199/£2,000
