LW, I would love to have you help! I've asked my sister and she always says she will but hasn't yet. I just feel it has got too much for 1 person if I am truly honest and I just can't face it. The girls room at the moment makes me want to cry.
However, starting as soon as I have my house deeds sorted and the tiling donw (£800ish in total) I am starting with DD2's room and they are getting gutted as we have to have a bedroom rejig due to Dot needing to be out of our room.. That means Squeaks room needs decorating for DD2 and then we have to decide if DD3 and DD4 are going in DD2's room or if the 2 tiddlies are.. they sleep likebirds though and the slightest noise wakes them both and that room is between the loo and the bathroom.. I guess it will turn out in the end but either way that room needs decorating again.
Everyone fed so off to 'supervise' some tidying of the girls room.. 25 minutes until bed time so we should make huge strides through the junk!.. Well I've been a very busy flylady

The whole house is now clean to its weekly standard, every room is vacuumed, dusted and tidy. :j I've also cleaned the kitchen, bathroom & brass on the front door! :j The advantages of having a small house
I went online before to check which post offices I could get the forms from and noticed that one of them was right by DD's school. So come home time I phoned her and told her to pick them up insteadJob done, and it didn't cost me anything :rotfl:

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hi there, and welcome to any newbies on the thread! I still consider myself a 'new' flylady, but it's been over six months now! My place isn't SO bad (!) but we do have a lot of clutter!!
Anyway, usual round of breakfast for us, cats and birds outside - and after lunch they got a top up as I'd bought some new suet pellets and meal worms for them on my shopping trip. We had a huge swarm of starlings down and little bluetits for the fat balls!
We then had a MH (mad hour I call it) and I cleaned bathroom and kitchen, then dusted round, as OH hoovered through. We then walked next door's dogs and I mopped conservatory and kitchen floors before we left for the shops.
Got some good and cheap food, toiletries, bird food, cleaners etc at H@me B@@@@@ns and A@@i's and got back around 2pm and popped fish and veg in the oven while we unpacked shopping and put some paperwork, mags etc in order as a friend was coming for a cuppa later.
Said fish scoffed (yummy!), said friend been, fed scones, homemade jam and tea, and now gone, and I'm sat in my favourite seat with a cuppa, my Ipad and surfing and gaming! Bliss!! Cats also re-fed, so happy and snoozing!
I'll now shut up, but send good vibes to Mr and Mrs Macpep and Mr and Mrs Ionafan, also good health and wishes to anyone poorly.
Bye for now, R x0 -
Hi Nicki
You've just posted before me, and I've just spotted where you live. I'm a bit further up the coast from you, but wanted to say, have you seen the weather forecast for our coastline on Friday!
If it comes it's snow and more snow, so be prepared!!
I'm back at work tomorrow, but intend to crack on with this paperwork and try to clean the porch - even the hard snow seems to tread mud in.

Monday and Tuesdays list done. Plus a few extra bits. Dailies have been done too. Want to move stuff around in the living room but might wait till spring.
Black bag filled for charity shop so that will go tomorrow.
Hugs spoons and sticks where needed.0 -
Only just got the littlies to bed. But it's our "day off" tomorrow so no hurry to get up (just as well, I am cream crackered).
Managed to wash up and bath tots, they have been galloping around on matching his n hers hobby horses all evening, so hopefully they will sleep. 3 full days at nursery usually helps that. DS has gone quiet but DD is stil whispering to her dolly.
I did have a tidy round upstairs and put washing away. Still need to sort through nursery bags though. Oh and we made a shopping list. I asked DS to say what veg as I'm fed up of him "not liking" whatever veg I choose. So we're having carrots and chips (do they count as veg, lol?).
So my extras for this week are:
Ring dentist, for all of us.
Wrap DS birthday presents.
Sign his card.
Do a trial run at the ready to roll icing tomorrow (any tips???)
Make the cake on Saturday, ready to ice in the evening.
Add the decoration Sunday morning. Yikes. Where has January gone?
Will go get my flying list and see what's what now...

Hellooooooooo!
Odd week..............most evenings it was the game of guess if work is open!........it invariably was  but I was utterly convinced last night it would be shut today. It was open.
Anyhow flying:
Blitzed living room yesterday (surprising what a bad mood can do!)
S&S kitchen
Swept dog fur
I will tackle the lists and update at the weekend. The house isn't that bad really. I keep chopping and changing what i think I should do but as long as one room is blitzed a week and the rest given a lick and a promise, should be ok.
Got a lot of prep to do for a course coming up  but it will be worth it.
Hello to PIGPEN! Hope all of the family are well.
LAMEWOLF I adore dragons, even got a tattoo of one on my back!
SKINT huge welcomes to Holly!
Familiar faces - hiya! :T
Those going through hard times - cwtches
Newbies - do what you can, when you can. These lovely ladies are not Anthea Turners with show homes but kind willing friends gently nudging in the right direction!
Off to prowl round the board.........

I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome!0 -
I am fine but skint! Trying to make a big push back to OS as I know there's loads more I could be doing to make the pennies stretch, it's so lovely to see the old faces. It's been difficult raising the baby on my own but he's now coming up to three and I think I can get away with some more time spent in the kitchen now.
Wow - royalty.
Hello Moggins - lovely to meet you - I have been a regular for a while and have heard of you - oh and I have ''your' book lol (Thrifty Ways'
I got it remaindered :rotfl:

IT'S FRIDAY......IT'S THE WEEKEND..........:rotfl::T:cool::D:j:j:beer:

Quite a productive week so far... Thank you for the nice welcome and the helpful posts. I will update the list in the morning and will also list my 'Must Do's' as I've seen others do. I love a list and love seeing it all ticked off even more... Perhaps that says a lot about me
Off to put my feet up for an hour and watch rubbish on the telly...
Night all, Cake x0
