Getting impatient for pay day now - just 4 days to go!! Haven't spent any money today or yesterday so I'm not doing too terribly although my unexpected GNR entry fee means I don't think I'll be able to reach my 25 NSD target for February :(

  • ONE DAY UNTIL PAY DAY!!! My payrise kicked in just under half way thought the pay period so I'm getting a bit more than usual which will definitely be finding its way over to the BC balance! Want some movement on those numbers - such an impatient soul!! BF is giving me £100 toward food costs this month too so that will free up some of my pennies for another chunk of overpayments. Happy days! Can't wait until my loan payment goes out either - second to last one :j :j :j

Haven't spent anything all week which is good, things are starting to look bare in the cupboards though. I shall need to do my next fortnight of meal planning and pick up any additional bits I need over the weekend. As I had an unexpected spend last weekend I will be coming under my target of 25 NSDs :( All being well I should be pretty close though.

BF is going for an informal job interview tomorrow, there's lots of ifs and buts about it but no harm in him checking things out, will mean a huge reduction in his commute so lots of money saved in petrol! And he'll only do it they offer a salary increase. On the flip side it means shift work rather than 9-5 and more than likely every weekend rather than his current every other. We'll have to see what gets said tomorrow. Having a treat tea tonight from m&s, they really push the boat out on v-day weekend so we' re guna make the most of it!

Will be back tomorrow, hopefully with news of overpayments a plenty!!

  • PAY DAY :T :j :D :j :T Whoop!!

Just juggled some pennies around my various accounts and paid an extra £55 to the BC. I will then pay another £100 next week when BF gives me money for groceries. I increased my fixed DD to £250 when I did the BT last month and that will go out as normal at the end of the month. That will surely be wiping a nice amount off the first BT balance!! My penultimate loan repayment will be going out next week too. Aahhh so excited to see the final payment day draw near!! With BF helping with food costs plus my payrise kicking in for a full month in March I think I will be able to say goodbye to both the loan and the first two BT balances in one hit. That leaves the balance I BT'd from the nationwide card on 0% until November. What I'm thinking is I leave that with just the minimum payment and then squirrel away as many pennies as possible seeing as though we may be buying a house in the next couple of months. If that doesn't work I'll have savings to pay the card off straight away and if it does I will look to BT the balance again come November. I think that's the best plan for the moment at least.

Not sure what we're doing today, something not too costly or exciting I imagine!! Off to update my signature which is rather exciting if you ask me!!

  • Just sitting and watching the Winter Olympics, I don't really understand curling?! Seems an odd sport.

Not spent anything all weekend, need to go for a top up shop tomorrow night but I have planned everything I need. Meal planning really makes such a difference when you put your mind to it! Not really much else to report tbh, apart from telling myself I really need to get my tush into gear and start training again! Got no excuse now I have the GNR to aim for!

I got impatient and changed my BC DD to minimum payments. Means I can send all my overpayments through without waiting for the day before my statement for the DD to be taken. So big whoop for another £250 payment which has gone off the remaining balance :j

Not spent anything this weekend and just need to pick up a couple of things this week for my meal plan. Have lost track of my NSDs so need to go over my spending diary at some point! There is potential movement on our house plans but I'm keeping that under wraps until it progresses a little further!!
