I hope your car boot goes well Blue, if it's a nice day I'm sure you'll be quids in!!
I'm off today and I've not done much so far tbh. Picked up a dress I had dry cleaned and watched the second hunger games film. Not particularly exciting! It's a beautiful day so I should really be outside, running perhaps?! Really need to get my head back into the whole exercise business otherwise I will be dragging my sorry behind around Newcastle come September (been there and done that before - it wasn't pleasant!)
Money wise there's not much to tell apart from its pay day on Friday and a mere 7 days or just 1 week until my final loan payment goes out :j I can't wait until I can tick it off my list and it's gone forever!! No way will I ever be taking another loan out again - I can't even remember what it was for!! No news on our potential house purchase as of yet. So so worried the banks won't even consider lending us the money, just got to wait and see what our mortgage advisor comes back with. Patience is a virtue right???Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

Pay day tomorrow!!! Plus just FOUR days until my last loan payment goes out!! Woooop! :j :T
:T :j
Had a couple of NSDs and not planning on spending much this weekend. Think we're off out tomorrow but BF is paying! Other than that I've not got much interesting to say.... Need to get my backside out running but that's a theme that keeps repeating itself over the last few months

Aaaaah some exciting news - our Decision In Principle came through today!!! Far far sooner than we ever expected but sometimes you've gotta go with the situation as it is presented in front of you. It's a new build we're looking at as the Help To Buy scheme means we're able to buy now rather than saving for the next couple of years. We're going back at the end of the month to go over the plans and then we'll be on a 28 day countdown to exchange!!! Could potentially be home owners come the end of April. Watch this space!! Trying not to get too worked up about it all and just wait and see what happens. Easier said than done for sure but whatever will be will be

LOAN FREEEEE DAY!!!!! AAAAAAHHHH!!!!! YEEEEEESSS!!! :j :j :j
Last payment has made its way safely from my account so I am now loan free!! I can't even remember why I took it out, think it was along the lines of, ohh I'll clear my credit cards with it and then boom! I filled them back up anyway!!
So happy it's done and dusted!! Now all that's left is my BC which I will send a payment to today so I can edit my signature!! Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

£300 has just been paid to the BC which is £50 extra than normal, that means there's just £120 to pay of BT2. Since we are more than likely going to be buying a house I will be letting the card tick over at £50 per month while we get sorted. It means my official debt free day is a little further off than originally planned but this house is beautiful and the help to buy scheme means we can do it now rather than in a couple of years.Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

Nothing much to report. I'm ummming and arrrring about what my plan is over the next few months pre-potential-house-buying. I need to chuck as much money as I can into a savings account and get enough together to pay fees. Aiming for £2k by July, hmmmm not sure how that's guna happen!! Haha! Best get back to the drawing board....Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

Nothing exciting to report money wise once again. We're going back up to see the new house on Friday and finalise the reservation. We'll then be able to apply for the Equity Loan and hopefully get Authority to Proceed. I'm so so excited about potentially being a home owner!! It's all so much sooner than we thought but sometimes that's how life works right??!! Will see how everything goes on Friday. Trying not to get my hopes up but that's generally not going to well to be honest!!!Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

So we've picked out tiles and our kitchen! Feel a bit odd about it all tbh, think I'm a bit nervous and scared!! We should be exchanging come the end of April and possibly moving in come July  Just depends whether everything goes through ok with the HTB and full mortgage application. Paying off the remainder of the BC will take a backseat while we scramble together enough for the house purchase. Suddenly feeling the need to be all growed up!!
