PIG PEN :T :T hat off to you girl, that is some going. Especially as you have been having loads of building work going on (to pay for too!). So once you are debt free what are you gonna do with all the extra cash each month!

Well.. it is currently going out at about £1400 a month.. I might stock the cupboards with food seeing as we have been living on next to nothing the last 7 months.. I'm not tight.. I'm frugal!! lol..

I even got praise from hubby

    Hi there!
First things first.. Welcome to Newbies and Returners and well done pigpen on clearing so much debt in such a short time.:T

I've no major Flying jobs this week, seven weeks of following this thread and I feel very much on top of things and it's only taking a half hour or so in the evenings to do the basics. Ok, my windows still need doing in and out but no biggy!

I reckon I'm ready to start the declutter jobs but even that's not too bad. I've moved house every three years (sometimes less) and usually end up giving my clutter to other people as it saves dragging it around the country.

I'm in the mood for a wardrobe and drawers fest this evening. Gonna shut the curtains and try everything on. I've a feeling what'll be left though will make it look like the aftermath of those poor women who've been Trinny and Suzannah'd..Plus I need to find something go-ey out-ey for a hen weekend this weekend and it's ages since I've been on a big night out. I have the fear!

Have a good evening, keep at it. I may be gone sometime..

Can I go all Tanya Byron on you???!?!?!!? Can't remember how old your DD is but your description of things reminds me of house of tiny tearaways. Sounds a bit like she is getting more attention for being naughty, I know my DS can be like that (he's 4 and has such a cheeky look just before he does something mischevious!). Could it be worth trying a bit of reverse pyscology (sp) ie 'if you do x number of tasks this week you can go on the trip with grandma at the weekend' and perhaps give her a chart to record her sucesses or otherwise. And really praise her when she does well.

Hope I haven't offended you, just want to give you support, I am sure most of us have been there in the past and I'll bet those that haven't yet will do at some point in the future!

We tried a sticker chart and loads of praise for being good trouble is she's good so much of the time that praising her kind of becomes a "Oh yeah, I did well again" sort of thing with her.:rolleyes: She did burst into tears though and say that she didn't realise at the time that it was dangerous and that she now does and will never do it again...plus I think it's starting to sink in that she gets into more trouble if she lies about doing something wrong/naughty than by just doing it.

Final decision is no stereo for 5 days, grounded for 13 days (she's already had 1 ;) ) and still working on something that should sink home the seriousness of what she did. We know she did it at some point since the 6th of March (Gas safety check was done then and the fella took all the heaters apart to clean/service them ;) ) and she says it was after her cousin had been around to play...but then again she was blaming her cousin outright when I first asked her but I could tell she was lying as she wouldn't look at me when she was saying it. ;)

I never realised just how right my mum was when she used to say "I know you're lying to me. I can tell." and things like "I'm your mother and I know everything" :rotfl::rotfl: It seems to be some switch that is thrown when you become pregnant you just instinctively know whats what :D:rotfl::rotfl:

Right, off to catch up elsewhere and then on with a couple of jobs and then an early night for me I think, if I don't get distacted by OH's film at 9pm....oh and I should really water the garden as well as it's just a bit thirsty :o Back later to get tomorrows list

    Hi all,

Had a pretty good day today, went shopping this morning. Got back and dyed my hair - roots were terrible lol then had a good crack on all the rooms. Everywhere is nice and clean and sparkly now and I've got the place to myself for a change. DD is in bed fast asleep and DH has gone off to play 5 a side. Planning on having a nice long bubble bath, and watching c**p on TV!!!!!

Hi to the new flybabies!!! I've only been doing this for about a week and a half myself and the flat is looking amazing. My DH is not working at the mo and I've got him doing it too - he asked me this morning, whats the flylady list today? We split the jobs, I did the Kitchen, hallway and bathroom and Hubby did the living room and the bedrooms bless him!!! :A

Anyway off for a bit now, will prob be back on later!!! Take care everyone!!

I haven't been posting as PC hasn't been working - we are changing our ISP and not sure what happened but we were left without internet for 6 days, I have spent the morning sorting out the new one as so far all seems to be working.

As I have spend the morning doing this not sure how much flying will get done today but will aim for level two, WM drawer and oven were done last week so won't touch them today but floor and fridge need doing today .

Off to finish checking emails, have lunch and then hopefully a bit of flying before school finishes.

Pigpen Very big well done you must be feeling very pleased with yourself as I know its been hard.

okay apart from clean floor level two done (floor will be done shortly after dog and kids have gone to bed), two loads of washing dried and put away and a quick ss of the bathroom, don't imagine I will be doing anything else tonight but may check back to see what tomorrows list looks like.

Evening ladies, sorry not had chance to pop in and see you all today. Have just posted tomorrows list which you can blame Broomstick27 for as she wanted the Master Bedroom earlier this week :p

Nightmare of a day, DS1 had a bad day at school, ended up attacking another child and got a teacher instead, having to seriously consider special needs place which I didn't want to do but school just aren't coping with him and he's not coping there. Have made appointment with the nearest special school on 15th of May so will see how that goes, got his review before that and hopefully school will be honest about them not coping. Me having to go and collect him and bring him home on countless occasions is NOT coping. School thing mean't get dinner out unfortunately, DP suggested later in week.

Anyway after that went shopping and DP talked me into a BBQ tonight. Fair enough, until DS2 invites 7 of his friends!! Well it's been chaos. Catering for 13 last minute instead of 5. My what was tidy (did level 3) kitchen now looks like a bomb site and my feet really hurt :( I'm having 5 before tackling the massive amount of washing up. Oh and I am going to have to be careful when shopping, emptied my full fridge into the new one and it looked empty, went shopping and it still looked empty :rotfl:

Pigpen well done on that debt reduction, that is amazing! Unfortunately didn't get your PM, maybe lost in cyber space ?

tracyg well done with the little one, hope tonight is another good night.

wilf55 welcome, hope you find Flylady our way helpful :)
demonicangel another welcome, hope you also find it helpful
Dustykitten welcome back, a lot are new, some more familiar faces do pop in from time to time
One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks Lilme - glad its main bedroom tomorrow as I am out most of day and as I only changed bedding Wednesday and vac'd at the weekend a quick S & S and maybe a bit of decluttering will be all I get chance to do.

Don't know how you find time to do this for us with your busy life - so thanks again and hope all works out for the best for you all with DS1's review.
