    Hi guys :hello:

Wow, you're all doing fantastically :T (is that a word?) I'm sure the sunshine is the motivator, never noticed until today when I had a good thunk about it when I should have doing a gym sesh, but that's by the by. ahem.

Just finished the last thing on my list: da da! phoned Virgin, they tried to make me pay the £5 admin fee, yeah right! and the lovely Steve took it off and I just paid what I owed and he set up a DD which hopefully will start in June (we shall see  ) so I'm feeling really good now.

Gonna start tea in a min, noticed there was some fairy liquid (?) floating at the top of the new oil in the chip pan so skimmed it off with kitchen roll, it'll be ok :D

pigpen :rotfl: IME it's the left one that's bigger, I'd still prefer a custard cream though :D

and now I've just gone and put the oven on with the Stardrops still soaking in it  , I'm determined to poison them one way or another aren't I *tuts*

    Hi again.

This has been just the quick start I needed - forgot all about hot spots and am about to clear one! I only have 2 so not too bad.

I will get back to a daily and nightime routine. Does somebody post for tomorrow what we are doing then?

DD has just lied to me again...longer grounding for her and punishment to be decided when OH gets in, immediate one (as set by OH when I told him about the hay in the heater) is tea and bed by the time OH gets in at 5pm. Off to make a cheese toastie for her, and erm...something else

    HUGS for you nicki

Can I go all Tanya Byron on you???!?!?!!? Can't remember how old your DD is but your description of things reminds me of house of tiny tearaways. Sounds a bit like she is getting more attention for being naughty, I know my DS can be like that (he's 4 and has such a cheeky look just before he does something mischevious!). Could it be worth trying a bit of reverse pyscology (sp) ie 'if you do x number of tasks this week you can go on the trip with grandma at the weekend' and perhaps give her a chart to record her sucesses or otherwise. And really praise her when she does well.

Hope I haven't offended you, just want to give you support, I am sure most of us have been there in the past and I'll bet those that haven't yet will do at some point in the future!

fitted around baby sleeps: so far, 10:30-11:00, 1:25-3:15

    Monday 30/4:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/strike]
    Level Two
Clean floors dining room swept, need to get hoover from upstairs to do kitchen might as well wait till i have made pastry as i will only spill flour on again
[strike]wipe cat feeding mat on floor and outside of bin[/strike]
[strike]Clean microwave - [/strike]not needed as still clean from last time
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round - dusted TV cabinet etc, and lamp table. Didn't manage rest of stuff in LR/dining room, but can roll over now to tomorrow
    [strike]Wipe dining table[/strike]
[strike]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front[/strike] dead easy as there is hardly anything in there until i do a food shop
    Level Three
[strike]Wipe window sill, clean any marks off window if required[/strike]
[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts [/strike][strike]and the front of appliances[/strike]
[strike] Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky, Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week [/strike] both not needed
    Declutter mission task
Sort one cupboard of your choice, yes any cupboard, if you're brave do the one you've been putting off all year so far, or just a simple one will do think i am going to make this the freezer, and loosely class this as a cupboard, as it is a place to store food after all. Can't remember when i last defrosted it, but i didn't have a baby, so it is badly in need of sorting, then i may order a grocery delivery for Wedneday as i have to wait in for a parcel anyway, and fill it back up.
    [strike]Deal with post[/strike]
    [strike]Make baby bottles[/strike]
    Make baby fruit purees

    Extras:
    • WM - 3 loads out on line, load in ready to go tomorrow am. Dh's washing basket empty until tonight.
    • rescued my underwear from TD, now folded, and to take up and put away
    • I've also had a quick walk to the postbox to post back the DVD rental.
    • found a letter that i had misplaced
    • had fun feeding the baby raisins, letting him try to pick them up
    • sorted through the toy box - took a couple of cuddly toys out to put on display upstairs, toys he can't play with at minute at bottom so we can get to the stuff he can play with.
    • cleaned sink/draining board/plastic racks
    • made a jelly
    • got meat and pastry out of freezer for dinner
    • washed up dishes
    • took all rings off the hob/cleaned
    • washed up grill pan that DH didn't bother doing last night
    • watched baby sign language DVD with baby
    • cut babies fingernails
I've cheated a bit as i have made a good start for tomorrow. Although i may give up on the official list now.

    still to do today:
    • [strike]bath baby[/strike]
    • [strike]feed baby his supper[/strike]
    • [strike]get baby in bed[/strike]
    • must make baby purees tonight
    • [strike]get all washing back in/folded/put away[/strike]
    • [strike]put washing line away[/strike]
    • wash my hair
    • [strike]make a mince and onion pie for tea - cheating because it is frozen pastry[/strike]
    • defrost freezer, then repack
    • [STRIKE]do an ASDA online order to take advantage of £10 off code[/STRIKE] spent £150 - although this is a big restock of the freezer and pantry. I'm not that keen on online shopping though as it takes forever, and you don't always get what you want delivered.
    • wash up after dinner
    • swish and swipe kitchen once finished
    • watch Prison Break
    That's probably achievable.

Pigpen - way to go with your finances. All that getting rid of clutter via ebay must be making a bit of a difference. Just shows that it is possible to trim waste and get yourself in order. I'm just pleased that so far in my maternity leave (7months) we have managed to not dip into our savings and survive on mat pay and DH's wages. It may be all downhill from now but i will try not to do that.

Just about to spend 10 minutes catching up on the thread while Charlie has a kick about, and then i won't get back till tonight.

Sending you calming vibes Nicki :A . DD1 is 4 and discovered a few months ago that she could lie (not very well but she still tried), not looking to the part where she is older and can do it properly. Must remember to take notes on how you deal with all this older child stuff so it will be a doddle for me:D

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean floors
    Clean microwave
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe dining table [/STRIKE](clean table cloth if necessary)
[STRIKE]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe window sill, clean any marks off window if required
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances

    Declutter mission task
Sort one cupboard of your choice, yes any cupboard, if you're brave do the one you've been putting off all year so far, or just a simple one will do - [STRIKE]Kitchen baking cupboard for me, fed up of stuff falling on my head when looking for something.[/STRIKE]
    Extras

    [STRIKE]S & S Lounge
    S & S Bathroom
    Hoover all downstairs
Put ironing away (I WILL do the ironing tonight - maybe[/STRIKE]!)
Scrub extraction hood in kitchen (got a bit sticky)
    [STRIKE]Usual pre-school drop off/pick up [/STRIKE](lunch club tomorrow)
[STRIKE]Mow the lawn [/STRIKE](was DH job but he did the fence painting as kids not around)

Red item not done! Asked DH to take the thing apart for me but he said as we are selling the house he would rather not incase it got broke and we had to replace it. OK says I, you can scrub it with a toothbrush then. He said "fine" - so thats one thing for this weekends list of jobs :D;)

Picked DD1 up from pre-school and went to park for an hour, so happy littles at mo:D which means tired, grumpy littles after tea when they realise how tired they are:eek: .

PIG PEN :T :T hat off to you girl, that is some going. Especially as you have been having loads of building work going on (to pay for too!). So once you are debt free what are you gonna do with all the extra cash each month!

Right, next task tea - see you all later x
