    Declutter mission task
Sort one cupboard of your choice, yes any cupboard, if you're brave do the one you've been putting off all year so far, or just a simple one will do - Was not brave enough to do the one that really needs doing, is a huge cupboard full of old clothes, toys and other random bits!

    Tuesday, Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1
Vacuum floor in bedroom and on landing
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Remove bed linen and wash, replace with fresh[/STRIKE] Done this today as dd1 wet the bed last night and her room is the master one!

    Clean window & wipe windowsill
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs

Cant believe how easy this is! In no time my flat will be nice and sparkly, this thread really is giving me the motivation to clean! Its amazing the little that I have done today has had an effect on the kitchen!

Tomorrow will be dd's room as thats the master room and needs doing!

OK, so here is how I've done today.
    Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean floors
    Clean microwave
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round [/STRIKE]N/A
[STRIKE]Wipe dining table [/STRIKE](clean table cloth if necessary) N/A
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front - did yesterday
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe window sill, clean any marks off window if required
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances[/STRIKE]
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky it isn't!
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week have wiped it over, but it still looks good from when the oven cleaning man came

    Declutter mission task
Sort one cupboard of your choice, yes any cupboard, if you're brave do the one you've been putting off all year so far, or just a simple one will do I clear as I go I haven't done this yet. I might go and have a go when I've had a sit down.

    Dailies
Make beds - whoops, I always seem to forget this one
    [STRIKE]2 loads washing[/STRIKE] I did 3 - but the basket is nearly full again:eek:
S+S bathrooms I inspected them, and they still look great, so no effort needed here
[STRIKE]Clear (some of) the junk from the landing [/STRIKE](It's toys that the baby has yet to grow into but that are too young from DDs - garage for them temporarily - toys I mean, not DDs!!)
[STRIKE]Pick ups from preschool and school [/STRIKE](have already done the drop offs)
Make some chocolate chip bread in breadmaker for after school BM is on with an ordinary wholemeal for lunchboxes. Will do CC tomorrow for after school snack
[STRIKE]Supper - salmon, new pots and broccoli I think[/STRIKE] and I made a very nice lemon dressing using some of my first batch of Easiyo
    [STRIKE]Wrap and post a birthday pressie[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Go to the tip[/STRIKE] I did this too.

Well, what a day. LO is now asleep although he's been really grumpy all day long. I like tomorrow's list - I sorted out main bedroom on Saturday, because it got left out last week, so only maintenance needed in there. I will do more in DD2's room with the extra time I think, and I need to go shopping for another birthday present!!

Am going to go do 15 minutes in my disaster area now, then it's lunchboxes, and I'll try and come back and read all the thread's properly before I fall asleep!
    Bye for now

Torianut, thanks, it sort of keeps me sane doing this at the minute, it's a reason to have a sit down or I would just be non stop. Saying that my feet now hurt more having sat down, wonder why that always happens. Just had to go and find DS2 who decided to run off, little monster!
Kyle, well done, and ewwwww my son used to smear a lot, even when older, awful isn't it

Evening all! Welcome newbies, glad everyone is doing so well today and lots of crossed off things. Have had a lovely day, really tired to relax and still managed to get things done without almost killing myself and have played wth baby lots and had lots of cuddles from him so feel like a good mummy today. Just praying we sleep again tonight, hes unsettled but so far I've left him and hes doing brill. Again, trying level 3 but AM NOT going to go mad to get it done, will see how baby is. So heres whats left of my list and tomorrows list:

    Kitchen Clean floors
clean any marks off window if required
    Tuesday, Master Bedroom & Landing
Vacuum floor in bedroom and on landing
[STRIKE]Remove bed linen and wash, replace with fresh
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen [/STRIKE]
Clean window & wipe windowsill - landing and 3 in our bedroom
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
    Wipe doors and handles
Declutter Mission Task - Choose one HOTSPOT to clear, even if only for 10 minutes

    Dallies
Washing (dropped sauce all down my lovely new white top so got a small load of whotes in, will hang on airers overnight with it being warm and dry and iron)
    Clinic with baby
    Check playgroup times

Pleased with what I've got done also went to Tescos, was very careful with what I spend, seem to spend so much there, and got some good bargins on meat (normally use butchers but these were too good to miss), pre MSE I was too embrassed to rumage through the reduced section - today I waited while the lady reduced the meat I wanted!:money: DH starting slimming world so bit of a nightmare but have done a meal plan, been a very good wife today and cooked him breakfast, also roasted a yellow sticked chicken I got for him to use for lunches next couple of days. MIL took baby for a walk so did the two loads of ironing that have been hanging around all weekend, DH was home earlier so took dogs and baby for another walk before his bath.

Right, am off to chill infront of the tv, have a good evening folks!
Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

Today was a bust I'm afraid. I had to help out my boss again, painting blackboards this time. Then a trip to the midwife. She was running over an hour late  , so DS and I didn't get home until 6.45!!! Not best pleased.

Tomorrow's looking the same. All work, no satisfaction - you know what I mean? I miss my flying routine, I just find it so rewarding that now, if it's not done, I feel all twitchy.

I didn't even complete my dailies today. No swished loo or made beds :( . I'm just too tired to tackle it now. All in all, a horrid day and tomorrow looks as bad. Feeling very sorry for myself. I'm going down the garden to eat worms.

Hey, it's the main bedroom tomorrow and mine's still tidy.Coool!

Well, I emptied the 'Solway Winter Catwalk Collection' onto the bed, generated two washloads and a 14 fling boogie (if a pair of shoes counts as two..) Resurected some of the ditto Summer Collection from under the spare bed. I think I'm not being ruthless enough, spending too long reminiscing over a pair of size 8 Levis  that I'll keep to show the next generation :rotfl:

Got to find another 13 items or my Feng Shui will be all out of whack in the morning..

I like it here, you're all just fab. TTFN

  • O Crikey, i'd really better do a good job of the bedroom tomorrow then hadn't i? Thanks Lil_me, I promise to try really hard.

Done a great job of kitchen today, didn't even get to the end of my cd and i did some extra bits too, yey.

Really annoyed with nursery staff today as they threw away a brand new pair of DS's pants AGAIN because he had had a pooey accident and they were "so messy you couldn't have got them clean". I bet i could! I have never had to throw away a pair of pants because i couldnt get em clean. Think i will be having a word at parents evening on Wed although i know they will think i'm crazy making such a fuss about a 70p pair of pants!

Maralum I remember being told off for painting when I was pregnant by my midwife, be careful.

Broomstick27 yes, you better had :rotfl: well done with the kitchen, sorry to hear about the nursery, I provided my sons with a bag to put his in after the same situation. Maybe you should teach the nursery staff how to get stains out :rotfl: , god help you if it was an expensive pair of trousers or something they threw away each time. Not right, like I said to them it wasn't theirs to throw away.

    Hello all.

Flippin' heck 5 pages of messages! What a busy lot of flyers.
I haven't had time to read them so I hope everyone is ok and hugs to you if you need them.

Whatever this sore throat thing is I've caught it knocked me for six yesterday afternoon. I had woken up in the morning feeling tons better than I did on Saturday.
Crawled out of bed this morning and took DS to school, came home and went back to bed! Never done that before. Slept for 2 hours, woke up had a drink and a cake and slept for another 2 hours.:p
Must have needed it I suppose and thankfully feel tons better, going to have an early night too.

So with not much of the day left after all that sleeping I haven't had a normal 'flying Monday.' After collecting DS we went to ASDA and then the park and since coming home I've done a basic clean in the utility room and kitchen (including shining the sink!), cleared off the dining room table, made lunches for tomorrow, done reading practise with DS and put some washing on.

Pleased it's the bedroom tomorrow as there is a small pile of papers beginning to build up on my bedside cabinet that need filing away.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.
