Hello,
I've got a Q about holidays for 2, has anybody of you gone for holidays on your own? is it allowed?0 -
Laughing my backside off re the lounger and that book! Amazing....
I've recently "won" a photoshoot with Venture photography, but the more I read about them online, the more apprehensive I am about using it :S0 -
:rotfl:So funny, thanks for the laugh:rotfl:0

I won a photoshoot with them too, it was a great day...and we got one free photo at the end!
They do try to sell you everything though...but I just refused point blank and took my freebie!
Definitely worth it!!0 -
A "downhill racer" - basically an open capsule suspended on two huge balls that was downright dangerous. Lots of bruises and grazes.
A tour of Spain for one -to pay for husband to go too would have cost 5 times what we we did pay for annual holiday. (It wasn't obviously for only one person in the terms of entering)
Tickets for the Outdoor Show in London last Friday. Our train was cancelled and by the time we got to London it was time to journey back in the snow and ice. Our very own outdoor adventure!0 -

About a week later they emailed me again to say my prize, a Louisianna Lounger, was being shipped from Germany.
GOOGLE Images it!!! (Warning: don't do it while children are around or if you are faint hearted!)
Couldn't give it to the school for their raffle *(although someone did suggest setting it up in the Head's office and charging 50p a go but we decided no-one would get a look in once the Head saw it), couldn't give it to the charity shop, tried Ebay but it was taken off. Eventually hubby took it to a certain shop in town and they bought it from us.
It did give everyone a good laugh and is still talked about in the staff room at work every so often some 5 or 6 years later
Oh my!!!! Thats all I've got to say :rotfl::rotfl:"Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?" - Lucy Maud Montgomery :hello:
:T:jThank you to all the competition posters, you are all brilliant! :j:T0 -
pmsl at the lounger :eek: do people actually use those :eek:
Anyway just wanted to say that you perhaps missed a trick EDC - I think it would make a fine spare single bed with the bonus of somewhere to hang your outfit for the morning:D;)
