A good few years ago, I entered a competition in MyKindaPlace magazine. I think I must have won a runners up prize, as it certainly isn't something I would have wanted to win.
I got a "top", "designed" by Jennifer Ellison. Oh my days. It was so so SO dreadful, I wouldn't even use it as a rag!!
And my dead-on-trend teenage daughter visibly paled when I offered it to her!0 -

LMAO.
Omg at the Louisianna Lounger. My eyes. I even thought i had possibly got it wrong... had to double check your post and everything lol. That gave me a good laugh.
Had a holiday win last year to Oz that cost me (spending money,) but it was worth it as it really didn't cost that much due to what was included in the win (flights, 5 star accommodation, a couple of meals, days out, car hire e.t.c.) I think we even came back with quite a bit of money.
Oh, and i remember winning theatre tickets to see "The woman in black," but the company who i had won with didn't leave the tickets at the box office. It was sooo embarrassing. I knew they were legit though as i'd won theatre tickets with them in the past and had no problems. I think maybe the box office thought we were trying it on, but there was another winner there too lol. We were eventually let in though and i did enjoy the play but it was a bit embarrassing.
I don't wish i've never won something though.0 -
One of my first wins was a Blue carpet Premiere to see 'Blue Moon Rising' in Manchester (Hubby's a Man City Fan) so he was really pleased, the PR company said the train tickets would be with us by 9 on the morning, which didn't give us long to get there from Brighton, however tickets never turned up and they told us at 1pm to pick up new tickets from station, well these tickets were not covered for off-peak and we were charged over £150 on the train (Embarassing) we got there just in time Premiere was fab, but walking back to hotel managed to end up lost in a back street of Manchester both very over dressed (looking like Richard & Judy at an awards ceremony) when we spot a big gang of hoodies looking threatening coming towards us so we had to dash down a side street to avoid, very scary moment. Then it took months to get a refund on the train fare, hubby meeting Roberto Mancini and front row seats did make up for it.0

Speaking of odd prizes I just found a competition online, not sure if I should post it on here. It's for a book called called In Your Hands by Mark Emme - Google it!0
