Probably best not to go there going by past threads It led to accusations of greed and a lot of argument :eek: Suffice to say, it's up to each individual to decide and everyone has their own opinion on it.

You've no need to apologise, I wondered the same thing when I started comping. Its up to you really. If you want to enter something to sell it, that's your prerogative. I personally don't have the time to enter absolutely everything, so I pick comps where I would genuinely like to win the prize. But I wouldn't feel bad at all about selling a prize. I wouldn't enter if the prize was for children/babies though, as I don't have any and would feel bad taking a prize from someone who could really use it.

What I'm trying to say is, just do whatever you want. There are no rules

We took a family trip to Sonisphere on a comp win about 4 years ago and some of the crowd there were stoned, but at least they weren't incontinent :eek:

Livewire - I'd find a home for your Pussay Patrol t-shirt - my lad would love it!

Me - I'm one of those who enters for stuff I want and can find a home for, but I did win a Pu$$ycat Dolls workout DVD once - I'd obviously been comping on auto-pilot... Wonder who won the Amy Childs false nails that were offered on a twitter comp a couple of weeks ago? They had pics of her on them :eek:

Couldn't give it to the school for their raffle *(although someone did suggest setting it up in the Head's office and charging 50p a go but we decided no-one would get a look in once the Head saw it ), couldn't give it to the charity shop, tried Ebay but it was taken off. Eventually hubby took it to a certain shop in town and they bought it from us.

It did give everyone a good laugh and is still talked about in the staff room at work every so often some 5 or 6 years later

Thank you so much for the best prize ever.....I have not stopped laughing since reading your story then looking on google at what you won. I will always read the T & C from now on. Thanks again for making my day. :rotfl:

From my experience, and what I've read, this is par for the course for people that go to V-Festival. I never saw the slightest hint of anything like that at The Big Chill festival... it was...erm... chilled and family friendly! :rotfl:
