Not if you allow yourself to be walked over like this. Do you want your son thinking this is normal behaviour?
I'd be telling him to pay up or move out. No money on payday then his stuff would be on the street in black bags (and the locks changed).0 -

Well there is no chance of that while this wide boy has his feet up on your settee!
Time he moved on and got a new housekeeper, you deserve better.
I am embarrassed on behalf of my gender!0 -

We are one couple, we have one account, 2 wages paid in, bills paid by direct debits, I need something I buy it, she needs something she buys it. Kids need something either buys it and we managed to do this 20 years without earning a fortune or going broke...
we do talk to each other though - 'kids will need new shoes soon love, better get them now as next month will be expensive as car insurance/tax is due - ok' you know that sort of thing. Did it go out of fashion?
Are we married?

Actually male! (yes I know, ornithologically stupid user name!) but I believe in equal partnership, I thought the old days of housekeeping, and dinner on the table when the caveman gets home were long dead.
Besides I am the better cook
