• Power Phone Off (no sim inserted)
• Connect Clip & Power on phone
• Power phone off

Unfortunately didn't work James.

As soon as I inserted a sim card, it told me the phone was locked

But thanks a million for trying to help.

I'm beginning to think it's either the clip that's faulty, or the devious Orange have an unbreakable code!!

Am wondering if it's a duff clip, or maybe it's the devious Orange!

No problem, if you edit it there is a delete option.

I googled for your models unlock clip and you seem to be doing everything right.

Its could be a dodgy clip but there must have been a reason why Jay asked you if it was on Orange. Maybe when he posts again he will be able to shed some light on your problem

You're right Alan, I too hope Jaymarsh can shed some light on the Orange issue. In fact it was he who kindly recommended the clip as an option in the first place. In the meantime, I've been in touch with the ebay vendor, who's asked me to return the clip so he can replace it.

Here's hoping the replacement clip works out!

hi, help needed to unlock LG Prada phone.

i bought what i thought would unlock it in a Prada/shine unlock dongle.

but apparently a dongle doesn't unlock anything without a cable :mad: (that tidbit would have been nice BEFORE i bought the dongle)

so does anyone know what cable i need to work in conjunction with the dongle (is that English?)

or if not are these unlockable in market stalls?
