Hi guys,
So finally got the unlock clip from ebay this morning. Used it, and instead of unlocking my phone, has frozen it, and left it making the most awful LOUD, and I mean LOUD din!!! Sounds like a drill you use for digging up the roads. Don't know how to stop it!
Phone is Samsung E720. And it is completely FROZEN.
Please help - and save my hearing!!!
Thanks.0 -
Sorry to hear that, I have no idea how to help. What happens when you remove the battery and try it again.
Can you tell us which ebay merchant you used, I've ordered a clip for my d900i and would hate for it to do the same to my phone0 -

Hi again everyone
Well, to get rid of the noise I just took the battery out. Then I thought I'd try my new sim card to see if the phone had unlocked. So put new sim card in, and put battery back on. Noise had stopped, switched the phone on, and it told me phone was (still) locked.
What does this mean? Could it have been a faulty clip? Any other ideas?
Would appreciate any ideas you might have.
Thanks.0 -
E-mail the person who sold it to you, they may have experienced this type of problem before0

Hi
When I removed the battery, the noise stopped. I've since tried it again, several times. This time the noise is not very loud. But when I put in the new sim card, it continues to show that the phone is still locked.
Have contacted the vendor, who has repeated his instuctions. ( which I've followed), am now waiting to hear back from him, as to any other ideas he may have. Am quite sad cos this is my first ebay purchase!

The vendor ia trotter$_independent_trader$ (aka cables4phones) Anyway, don't want to
damn him just yet, cos still hoping my story will have a happy ending!
Thanks for trying to help. Here's hoping you have better luck than I did...0 -
For the clip I have ordered you need to remove the sim from the phone first. Are you doing that?0
