Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's

Hi Everyone

Please could someone give me some advice. The situation is this I have a Samsung E720 IMEI 355287001321268, which is locked to the Orange network.

I was told the best way to unlock it would be a clip, since using a code makes the phone heat up and may set it on fire.

I bought a clip from ebay, this didn't do the trick. I got back in touch with the seller, and he said he'd replace the clip if I sent it back. This I did. And now guess what, the new clip hasn't worked either.

The seller now says if I send him the phone and the clip, he'll keep the clip but unlock my phone and send that back.

I'm a little anxious about this, cos what happens if he can't unlock it, he probably won't give me my money back, and will try to blame the phone or something.

Any ideas? I'd love to know how other people would handle this one??

Is it posible to unlock a Sony Ericsson T230 from O2.

The dog has just chewed up my phone and the T230 is the only other phone I have at the moment.

This has to be your local unlocking shop or a clip from e-bay, I can't comment on the effectiveness of the clip, I've ordered from e-bay over a fortnight ago and am still waiting

these can be unlocked, but not for free.

a local shop/market stall should be able to do it for you

Yeah just got one from "platinumsolutionsuk" on ebay for the D900i locked on O2 and it doesn't work. Says he's going to send another but will see!

Please let us know if yours does and which seller you've got it from.

Have mentioned before, got a W850i locked to T Mobile but having problems getting this unlocked locally at the marketstall.

Would like an unlock with debranding and them the correct firmware loaded so I can use my existing 3 contreact sim in the phone.

Any suggestions for this ?

davinciteam.com offer an unlocking service, but im not sure how much it costs.

i would debrand it 1st then unlock it. i have written a guide on how to debrand SE phones HERE using wotanserver
