days to go...
Well on Wednesday I should be able to free myself of 'old' debt. I don't feel I can count it as really DF, since I will have my train ticket etc to pay off at the end of April, but I've checked the statement and there will only be about 10 days of interest from the next one to payday. Shame it wasn't entirely interest free but the timing doesn't quite work - there isn't enough in this month's paycheque to clear the LastCard as well as the ticket, and I want to get the LastCard gone so that the account can be closed. Should be just within its interest free balance transfer period and I don't want to spoil the record by having interest on just its last 3 weeks
Not much other news... oh there is one thing... I was looking at purses a few weeks ago and decided I'd like to get a new one for my new financial freedom, since it's the thing I see most often that relates to money. I found the perfect one today, bought it as I still have spare money in the grocery budget that will cover it, and have just weeded out all my cards etc and swopped in cash. One very pretty (and it was cheap :rotfl:) new purse with only the loyalty cards that I actually use, my debit card and one emergency credit card hidden away (just for those occasions like, for example, er, getting to the station and realising that the debit card is in yesterday's jeans
). So a regular reminder of my new start :T and the way forward! :j

They really are odd. I went through a period where full on panic attacks were a real issue, and even though I'm considerably better now, I still have the odd wobble. For me the wobbles are a reminder that I need some head space and general tlc (starting with a cuppa and a biscuit to dunk in it). Have a think about what was going on at the time, and you might find the same applies.xx
You're not alone there, i get wobbles motorway driving, which I know relates to an incident last year when I was doing a long drive with passengers, nearly home, stopped for a break and a cuppa and not long after getting back onto the road my blood sugar tanked and i got the full on sweats and tunnel vision - got very scared that I was going to crash with us all and now keep getting that feeling on MWays - but I force myself to keep driving on them so I don't let the fear get to me.RosaBernicia wrote: »Glad your cold has gone - it's funny how they can hang on and make a nuisance of themselves.
I will keep you posted re both pole and running - will be talking to personal trainer about running this week, and will see about pole maybe next month.
Yup, cold gone (at last) just in time for me to do my first 1/2 marathon yesterdayFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Awww, thanks - I know its all in my head and I WILL overcome it, made it to one of my fitness classes the other week without a panic which is the first time in ages and a big milestone. It seems I don't like cones or busy traffic as I'm usually ok coming home. Had a scary experience a couple of years ago on an M-Way where a car in the fast line started coming across and I was in the middle with cars / vans next to me so I couldn't move over. The guy had driven up from behind and don't know if he wasn't concentrating or fell asleep but the only way I avoided a nasty accident was putting my foot down and shooting forwards. That hasn't helped but I will not let it beat me or limit me where I can go. Grrrr.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

:T:T:T super brave AND marathon fit! Go Kerri :j
I think motorways are a bit scarier more because things change that much faster. I had a bit of a problem with roundabouts after the bump last summer and I have to confess I now avoid that route- though turns out I've found a faster one anyway

*blushes* thanks Rosa I'm not sure if its the speed of motorways or a feeling of being 'enclosed or trapped' that I now have on them - I guess the incident in the Lakes and the one last summer were both so scary as I had nowhere to easily go / pull over. Then i end up thinking how easy it would be to have an accident, just a simple twist of the wheel. Silly really - must get a grip
Well, believe it or not i was back out running this morning - not really planned, and deff weren't breaking any records this morning, but didn't feel awful either.
Not long to go Rosa! how exciting for you.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

It's the other nutters on the road that worry me. A few weeks ago I slowed right down just in front of a slip lane as someone was dithering in front of me - I couldn't be sure if they were really going to pull out right in front of me, and I couldn't pull into the outer lane because it was occupied.
When we moved on again a car went past me and the driver was bent sideways over his wheel to wave his fist and clearly shout at me. With small kids in the car. And clearly not looking where he was going. That's quite apart from the fact that there was nothing else sensible I could do and keeping a safe distance is his own responsibility not mine. The more I think about these headcases the more careful I am and the more they get wound up at me for doing 73 mph

Hmmm... have to confess that I've gone a little off target since realising that it will be next month that I can really clear things. I picked up a pair of shoes this lunchtime - only £12 and perfectly match at least two summer dresses - and some books seem to have appeared on there too. However, it is all covered so I will still be clearing the Last Card tomorrow and the only real difference is that I'm working from payday again rather than the end of the month. I will sort that again in April.
No impressive list of Stuff Done as have been feeling a bit off colour - either gluten or too much dairy at the weekend I think. So have just thoroughly scrubbed/ shampooed/ drenched myself in Lu5h stuff and spent the rest of the evening reading both lovely novels and this little gem. It was recommended by someone on a FB comment re Brene Brown and its worth the 99p on Ama50n simply for the giggles.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Not-End-Life-Isnt-Until-ebook/dp/B00SCHT6I0/ref=sr_1_2?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1427239171&sr=1-2&keywords=it%27s+not+the+end
More tomorrow...
