All sounds super positive Rosa, sometimes it takes a 'bad' interview to remind you that the grass isn't always greener. Although sometimes it is, so just keep working on those plans.

Never used Ecover myself, currently have a stash of Surf from a gltich a while back. Apart from that I use Lidl non-bio for sheets and towels / undies. And lidl colour for other things. OH has quite sensitive skin so I try and use non-bio if poss on things right next to his skin.

Good luck with the PT. I was out running yesterday round a very muddy lake, my new trainers don't look quite so sparkly now but they are there to be used so using them I am.

Realised today when I saw my mum I haven't done much clothes shopping myself recently, she asked me if I'd bought anything and it turns out all I could think of (apart from my trainers) is a £7.99 tshirt from NL. :A

Well done Rosa - getting very close now. At least you went to the interview, otherwise you'll always be wondering. Very much agree with Kerri that the grass isn't always greener.

I don't really mind the A1di washing liquid, I find I can't smell it once I've used their lovely luxury fabric conditioner which does (IMO) smell divine. I might give the Ec0ver a go on your recommendation though!

I've just wondered whether to muddy mine but I think I'll leave them alone for now... then people won't wonder so much when I'm walking or red in the face

Well 9 days to go to payday and still just within budget so far :)

I picked up skin and hair stuff today after a training course rather than make a trip on the weekend, but no other spends. The grocery budget may be a little tight but the freezer is full, and I'm not intending to use my eating out budget as I will be studying for the next couple of weekends.

So, fingers crossed for clearing that Last Card on payday. I've had the statement through and my numbers are right. The train ticket and dress that are on the MyBank card can be paid off with the following paycheque which should be within their interest free time so I don't think that's cheating too badly :D

However I still need to sort out college fees and I suspect they will take a couple of months to pay off, so let's see what happens. My holiday's been pushed back a few weeks so I can probably pay for college first.

    Inching closer :)

Oddly but interestingly I've had an anxiety wobble the last couple of days, thinking I should sort some work in the evenings but really not wanting to as I'm on leave. Decided this evening that actually it really can wait til tomorrow morning, and feel rather better. Not sure what triggered it, maybe just a tad of overcompensation in deciding I need to focus better in my current role. Anyway, fingers crossed I get all caught up tomorrow and it goes away again.

    Aren't these things odd?

All caught up and work and wobble over :)

Not quite NSD as didn't get round to making lunch last night but only bought what I needed in Tatco. Free lunch and dinner tomorrow as on a training course and out of the office for long enough to get something on expenses :D

Forgot I will have to pay upfront for a dance class I'm starting this week, so may have to pull that out of savings pots, but I think that's excusable as I need the exercise! :rotfl:

And 8 days to go... :j

    Hello Rosa,

Well I've read the first page of your diary this evening and am excited to get more up to date. You've had a great start to the year so far.

I will be back next week for more reading.

6 days til payday, still OK so far :)

Still haven't got answer on my college fees so am hoping I may have a small window of being almost DF while I've paid off the old card and not yet put the fees on the low rate one!

Dance class this evening, ended up being enjoyable although the first 20 minutes wasn't, I haven't felt that stupid since driving lessons. It always takes me a while to learn physical skills and I'm worse when I'm nervous - fortunately the rather demanding tutor handed me over to someone more chilled for the rest of the class :o

Paid for block of dance classes by reducing the vets and dental bills pots by £20 each, but they will go back up to £100 each on payday anyway so think that's fine. Planning a couple of cheap weekends studying and sorting clothes but if anything comes up then I will just pull more out of the savings pots and replace it this payday or next. I may have to do that if I want to start working with the personal trainer through April. Which I do :D and I think it will soon be time to shop for some sandals too... we had so better get a decent summer now I can dress to enjoy it :)
