Sounds like a busy day Rosa. In terms of toning, have you tried any running? I've been running a bit and although relatively fit before I have noticed a difference in the little back bits above my hips that never really moved. Perhaps you could tie it in with your PT?
We went to the flicks too last night, late showing for us but a film we both wanted to see. Took our own crips too although did get water there.what did you see? We watched Kingsman as both liked the trailer when we saw The Hobbit. One of the best films I have seen in a long long time and came out feeling every penny was well spent.

Hi Kerri
Running is definitely something I want to do - partly because it's the obvious choice for cheap, flexible and outdoors, and partly because I've nearly got the bug from when I was doing the podcast programme. It certainly did help with abs and bum toning and I was beginning to settle into enjoying the run-don't-think meditative side of it. I got distracted from the last go with work and also finding that it didn't quite suit my progress, so I will pick the PT's brains on what might work better.
I saw the Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and it was just as lovely as the first one.

Keeping on track...
I've updated YNAB with a small grocery spend from today - all in budget and I picked it up on the way back from somewhere else, so that saved petrol.
I've now reshuffled YNAB to empty and reduce the pots I want to use to clear the Last Card, so it does reflect how things really stand for the month and I can see if anything affects that money put by. I also still have about £45 unbudgeted as a bit of a buffer. I'm tempted to make the payment now, but know how annoyed I will be if anything unexpected happens and I have to change it, so think I will wait until a few days before payday to make the first transfer and then do the second one the minute the money hits my account. Still ridiculously excited:rotfl:
One nice thing I've noticed already is that my anxiety levels have dropped. I used to find I got frustrated and anxious about quite small things rather easily, because it seemed so unfair if something got in the way while I was working hard and scrimping to make progress. Now that scrimping may be less necessary, there's less stress associated with the whole thing.
Also, as Ebay sales may be less necessary I think I will go through the bags and give some of the stuff to charity instead. Especially the work clothes and bags as I know there are a couple of charities who help people who really need interview clothes, and that way I know they will be making a difference

Love the idea of giving interview outfits that is brilliant
I have taken one lot of clothes to the womans refuge and a few knitted baby cardis as I had the wool and I know people sometimes leave with what they stand up in -
I truely think you should look into marie kondo - check out you tube as that shows you many of the folding techniques and the thread on the forums here will give you the order of things or I can do that from the book - you can do it without and you will think some of what she says is a bit off the wall - greeting your house as you go in etc as well as thanking clothes that have given good service - you have to remember that many people in Japan are influenced by Shinto even if that is not their practising religion as it permeates Japenses culture (now at this point I might have to thank my tutors for enabling me to learn that while doing my degree) so some of the things she says might be a bit off the wall BUT the more I read the more things fell into place by the time I was halfway through I had started and was already linking some of what she says to how I can work on my mental wellbeing
so see which of your possessions spark joy - I have broken down the clothes into smaller areas there is no way I can spread everything out and do it in one go but I have down all my socks tights bras and knickers and tomorrow I want to do nightware and hopefully start on tops or trousers - but will at least do tops trousers and nightware this week
hope the coming week is kind to you

Small things for the day...
- Well it was an NSD until I had to send something special delivery, but I've managed not to buy anything else!
- Deb3nhams card statement received - but not due til after payday so can effectively come out of April money.
- Tidied YNAB for that and a couple of other things, I had to cut down the groceries budget a bit but don't think it will be a problem as we're already 1/3 of the way through the month and about the same through the revised budget. The unallocated buffer is gone as I think I'm keeping the summer dress I ordered, so I 'fessed up to that and put it in the clothes budget line.
- Checked TCB as that should bring in another £15 in the next week or so, but no sign yet.
- Must put in my expenses claim tomorrow - it's only about £10 but everything counts this month. I'll have more to claim later this week and next week which I guess is good as it's free lunches :rotfl:

All caught up with your diary - and YAY! for keeping the dress.
I'm a little teary-eyed with joy at how well you've been doing - and taking care of yourself to boot. It's no good, I'm going to come right out and say it - you're an inspiration, Ms RosaB, a proper old school inspiration.

Well I am back from another interview which helpfully combined with a visit to relatives... and it's still all pretty good here
I don't expect to get the job, but I also don't think I want it, so that's fine. It was a bit of a compromise location and I didn't like either the office location or one of the people I would have been working for. That's before it turned out they asked me questions I couldn't answer because it's not in my experience and they should have either recognised that from my application or told me they were after something different when I flaming well rang up and asked them about the priorities of the job before I applied! So as you can probably tell, I'm not too upset :rotfl:
I had a couple of really good meetings earlier in the week and feel a little more positive about my current workplace, so that's good. I also read a fabulous book that has given me some new ideas to think through, so though I will keep a lookout for new jobs, I will also do a bit more about getting my mojo back in my current one.
Plus, similarly to Nora, I remembered that I do have a Plan A and have got rather distracted from it. So I'll be getting on with that and get my head down with college stuff.
Money-wise, all OK as I didn't spend very much on the trip - made a few YNAB reshuffles and have arranged payout from TCB as that has come through now. I did buy another dressbut it can always go back if necessary. I also treated myself to something today... I went and bought my favourite Ecover washing liquid as it's the only washing stuff I love the smell of. So there. Now that I am nearly DF I am going to use that instead of the icky fake scent stuff I've been buying from Ald1 (who are fab in many ways, but their concentrated wash liquid honks). Now my flat will smell lovely and I won't get so peeved about having to dry stuff indoors. :T
Meeting scheduled with personal trainer and I am really looking forward to totally rocking my fabulous dresses this summer
