Small things... have cancelled a subscription to supposed discount club as I never use it. £3.80 back in the pot every month. Debating switching banks but not sure the potential cash is worth the potential hassle.
Put off going shopping til tomorrow as I had enough in the house for tonight. Should be payday tomorrow too :T

I have often been tempted by these cashback offers. On balance I always choose to stick with the one I'm with - I used to work for them so think it's a case of 'better the devil you know....'It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I was going to say you have no idea how excited I am about this, but actually you lot probably do :rotfl:
I finally got my overtime money through and it was more than I had dared to hope for - I thought the bank hols etc in December would have reduced it a lot in comparison with November. But it's turned out rather well as it's sufficient to make a whopping £1,500 dent in the Last Card as well as cover my overspend for the trip away this month :j. So as much as the commuting was all rather mental it seems to have been worth it. :T
This means that my balance now stands at £950. I've just realised that this also means I've got down to three figures!! :rotfl::T:j
The other odd thing is that I also seem to have over £250 left in the budget for March. I'm going to leave it there just in case I forgot anything as I can't quite believe thisdespite going through the figures twice and putting everything in YNAB. I can always pay it over to the Last Card later in the month if I want.
I've celebrated with a huge Waitrose shopand am going to call the friend I'm planning a holiday with as this means I should definitely have enough money to go.

I've tried a couple of other accounts and have hated their websites and/ or the restrictions on what needs to be done in branch. Much as I'd like the extra £125 I think I'll stop with my current one for now - as you say, better the...

Thanks Vasseur and Nora :A (hugs)
I think the news is still sinking in, I had a slight wibble at the idea of spending on the holiday and then decided that's daft, it's perfectly doable even if my college fees turn out high (and that's a whole other saga which I am now promised can be resolved next Monday). I would like to be DF by August and that should leave me plenty of leeway so hopefully it won't take that long.
Because my low rate card is also at 0% for purchases for the year, I can put the holiday costs on that to be sorted later if necessary and work on clearing the Last Card before its own 0% runs out.:D
I may have gone ever so slightly overboard in Waitrose as I now seem to have food for a fortnight in the fridge :rotfl:but it's all stuff that will freeze or just extra stocks in the cupboard so that's OK.
Getting a little impatient with TCB now as I have £80 on there that can go towards my holiday too! :j
It's quite odd to realise that I am now less in debt than I have been ever since the age of 18. And a bit sobering. Anyway, onwards and upwards... I have a buffer fund and mortgage to get after
I think it might finally be time to make a vision board. Trip to W1lko's for a clip frame and spray glue tomorrow. There might also have to be glitter involved :j

Well yes
I bought glitter, and jewels, and sparkly spirals, and cute paper flowers... and paper and glue. And the biggest version they had of the wooden frames that go with my other pictures and furniture - very pleased with that idea, it will mean that the collage fits in with everything else. Although I may have to leave the glass off if it won't fit with the flowers and sparkles
I spent a happy evening yesterday sitting on the floor cutting out whatever pictures I was drawn to from my heap of Psycholog1es magazines, and will go through some others tonight. I might also drop into travel agents and pick up brochures for more material and I think there's a few pictures I have online that I might print. So will have a few days to get things together and then have a go at pulling it all into one collage.
I think I might be beginning to understand why Nora loves her crafty life
It's been great already as I found I had chosen several pics of yoga and will go find a class. There also seems to be a lot of water involved and I've no idea what that means!
