Quick and belated Sunday shuffle...well I am slightly embarrassed but also delighted to find I'd forgotten about a refund of over £200, I posted back two parcels but only recorded the refund for one! So that's lessened the dent in the budget this month, it is now within March pay and I should have both a bit extra and some overtime due so feeling a bit happier about that.Nothing much else to report!Debt free May 2016... Well I made a decision - YNAB announced they're looking at direct import for UK banks and I lost my cool after swearing at Co-op Bank's online stuff followed by 15 minutes on hold on the phone, so I'm switching to Nationwide. It loses me about £3/month in account benefits but I am soooo fed up of finding I can't enter a reference for transfers or delete previous payees without going onto the website, which I do less than once a month and always forget at least one of the security things, and it doesn't tell you straight away just lets you click through then says nope. So decision made, Ethical Consumer consulted, switch done. Also paid out to renew my driving licence which made me feel oldRB xxDebt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

All ok here. Well there is always something - this time it was work expecting me to pay for a training course, several hundred quid I won't get back for a few weeks, so can't say I'm very happy about it but it was doable. Did make me realise I haven't really got cash savings though, as it wasn't something I could put on the card, so that's motivated me to get saving. And the calendar has crept up on me, so realised it's just as well I'm sorting out accounts, I will need a new 0% CC shortly. And yes fingers crossed for work on the house - going to try and get things booked over the next week or so, at least for quotes, as am a bit concerned all the tradies will be booked up. Then again, maybe all the people who haven't been working did their house updates already and it's only us key workers to catch up!Debt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress
