YOU ARE GETTING A DOG! I MAY BE A LITTLE EXCITED!
Brilliant news
And My GOD your insurance is cheap! I pay that for my two (admittedly two 9 year olds) alleged pedigree each Month.
And each rabbit has been higher than that too!
Rosa's getting a dog! Rosa getting a dog!Nevertheless she persisted.1 -

Rosa's getting a dog! Rosa getting a dog! Thanks Buffy, it's just beginning to sink in! Still a bit eek about how it's going to work but we will be ok. The breeder was also delighted pup is coming to me as she feels we'd be a good match and pup is her favourite - awww. (Haven't dared tell this to friend who got pick of the litter)
Yes I was expecting the insurance to be massive but I guess it probably goes up as they age - I know someone who gave up and self insured their pedigrees after about 7 because it was just mad. I figure if she's covered for the first few years that's peace of mind and I can review it over time. As for rabbits - ulp! The moggies were less to begin with but their costs have steadily gone up as they aged - big cat was over £200 a year by this point, but his care at end of life was about £2k in about 3 days so it did end up cheaper than paying up front, quite apart from making decisions that much easier.Debt free May 2016... And on the budget bright side, remembered I am due some overtime and a bonus! Not sure if they will show up this payday but should be this month or next, and will help with the house stuff costs.

Payday review...Hmmm. I think plodding in the right direction probably about covers it.This month's spending has included textbooks (which are expensive but still cheaper than another exam), some new blinds and some necessary checks on the house. And insane grocery bills, as I've got a while longer to go before exams and just put in another Cook! order. I managed to take just over £100 off the 0% CC too, to get it down to a nice round ish number.Next month is funded for all the basics including a return to some savings pots (starting up the car and campervan ones again, plus a small amount to savings), a small increase in solidarity/ charity pots, , £200 off the 0% CC, and initial puppy costs. More house stuff and house work will have to come out of March's paycheque, but will hopefully still leave some spare.Need to think about replacing the 0% card fairly soon, as I think it runs out in a couple of months and I don't really want to wipe out pots to clear it in one go - hoping to get it sorted over the summer. There is work on the garden needs doing, but the house now has furniture so once work on ceilings and floors is sorted, it's just painting and that's not too expensive. It would be SO good if I can finally have friends here to help! ...Debt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

All sounding good, even if it is plodding while you can. You need the food order you are working and studying so that is an essential spend to keep energised 😇
Don't worry too much about the garden until you get to it - it will always be there 😂Grocery challenge Feb £107/£100-epic fail due to cake and biscuits
