I'm not sure.
Flights booked were return LGW to Dalaman.
You could threaten them with a big cross face as well
For it would have the same effect.
You choice is legal action or walk away, I'm afraid.0 -
Hi, We were delayed by 6 hours last year on an Air Malta flight but it is not showing on flight stats , can anyone advise me where to start my claim, the airline does not show on this airline on here. I have email confirmation of my booking but no other proof that I can think of. Thanks in anticipation.0

Why do you need to confirm the 'exact' time you were delayed? It was 6 hours so well over any threshold.
Make a claim direct with the airline and they'll mention it if it was under 3 hours.
Don't waste time on the small stuff is my advice.0 -

Don't waste time on the small smurf is my advice.
What did the smurfs ever do you to you, Mark?

Thanks for this amazing forum.
My wife and I were scheduled to fly on Austrian from Israel with a final destination of Chicago, via Austria. Upon arrival at the airport they wouldn't allow us to board as they had overbooked. They rebooked us with another airline direct to America. We ended up landing in Chicago over 4 hours from our original itinerary. However, that was only due to the fact that the flight we were rebooked on was delayed. Had it arrived on time, we would have arrived just under the 3 hour delay mark.
Our research showed that for being bumped we should be entitled to compensation of up to 600 Euro. However, the amount can be reduced by 50% if they reschedule you with a 'similar schedule'. As such, would we be entitled to the full amount or only half due to the original rebooking being slightly under 3 hours, and we were only delayed longer due to the flight on the second airline being delayed.
Also, does the fact that Austrian knew that the flight they were rebooking us on was already delayed (which would cause us to land over the 3 hours late at our final destination)change anything?0 -
I would say you have a denied boarding claim from Austrian based on your actual arrival time in the US0
-
Does that mean 50% or 100%?0

If you were denied boarding and put on another plane that got you to your final destination (through on one ticket, presumably) four hours late or more then you are due 600 euros per peson.
Sorry to be repetitive just want to clarify.. It should be 600 EUR even if the original flight they booked us on would have been under 3 hours and it was only due to the second airline's delay that we got there that late?0
