My point is its theft, I'm not sure how you missed that. Do trading standards only deal in civil matters? No, they deal with criminal matters as well. Hence why the OP was told it was theft. Theft plain and simple.

The police should not be refering theft which is a criminal matter to Trading Standards plain and simple. That is something possibly beyond your comprehension and contradicts what you have previously posted.0 -

Now we're getting to the point, you're right the police should have taken the report because it's theft. It doesn't contradict what I'm saying, I'm not in control of what the police there do or don't do. Theft is theft, no master who's dealing with it.
