Morning everyone.
I joined the sleepless gang last night. I've heard of computer viruses but sending insomnia via the internet
. Worst thing was we have no peemets (?) here at the mo. It was stayover night last night. So DH came and met me from work and we went to Wagamama for dinner. Tried to go for a drink but everywhere was soooo smokey we just came home and had a bottle of vino here. Sorry to all you smokers but I just can't wait until the 1st July and pubs will be smoke free.
Going to sort out the washing, then do some of it. DH and I are going to do the front garden (plant some shrubs and then put some chips down to keep the weeds away). DS will be devastated when he comes home (he can't cope with any sort of change) but he'll get over it.
off to generate my meal plan and then use a £15 off voucher I have from Tesco. Haven't been to them for sooo long, and I don't intend going back, but £15 is not to be sniffed at.
take care all and I hope you have a laugh at some point today."You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me." - C.S. Lewis0 -
Good Morning everyone, and especial hugs to Kyle's (((DS1))) You are not different hun, but you are very special.
Have a busy day today so please kick me off if you see me on here
I hope Harry and Jasmine are feeling a little better this morning.
I've got something a bit special to share with you all this morning See HERE
Guess who the fluffy headed one with the black band on her beak, right on top of the heap is? Yep, Feisty (aka LCC) The very same little madam who chased a fully grown swan off her breakfast. A friend made an amazing discovery earlier, unlike her siblings, Feisty is not too keen on bread, but absolutely LOVES peas, and demolished a good handful last night's leftovers for her brekkie this morning. She even dived to chase the escapees :rotfl:
I better get moving, lots to do today, including hemming (sp?) some curtains....see! I can't even spell it never mind do it! Help
Pen Pen, love your new ava. Belated welcome SamSam, great to meet you and welcome back MadMel
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Morning all
Ah, at the weekend not as many posts before 0900 am (oops, it's gone that now!).
So, 2 days leave used up and I no essay written  I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullett and write in a moment.
With work, on Monday I've managed to arrange a meeting in WestonSuperMare so I don't have to travel back to London (via WSM) until Mon, hurrah! Usually Sunday is a big count-down to going back and I'm getting really tired of the travelling
Tonight I'm off out with my best girl friend. She went on a date last night with a chap she met over the internet so I can't wait to hear how it went. Brave thing, I can never imagine doing anything like that....scary!! Anyway, I'm not sure I'm in the mood for going out, but hopefully once we're there I'll feel more up for it IYKWIM. I haven't had an evening off work/study for about 2 weeks so it will be good for me.
Wish I was unpacking (yep, lots to do, still!) rather than writing essay. Does anyone get the feeling that I'm just putting things off.....
PenPen love the avatar, looking forward to meeting your new chooks xx

Morning all.
Haribo, what have you done to your avatar?? I miss your jellybeans!
Pen Pen, I hope you get lots of hens from your new eggs and that the children weren't too upset. By the way thanks so much for your help…my radishes are going mad!
Kyle, hugs for your ds.
Happy Birthday to Moggins and belated birthday/anniversary wishes to Miss catowen and Shez and anyone else I've missed.
Sorry I haven't been around much recently, I've been up to my eyes with one thing and another, but I have been reading and keeping up with everyone's news.
Because of the good weather I've spent loads of time in the garden and it's looking good. So far I have tomatoes, peppers, readish, salad leaves, tarragon, thyme, chives, sunflower and pumpkin peeping through.
I'm still waiting for the parsley, basil and coriander to come up. I'm off to the garden centre today to get some more bits and pieces. Poor Mr Pink goes a funny shade of green every time I mention another trip to the garden centre.
Unfortunately he doesn't share my enthusiasm, but I bet he’ll enjoy eating the it all!
So with all that time in the garden, I've done very little in the way of Old Style apart from the normal daily bits and pieces.
Thankfully I have a freezer full of homemade 'ready meals' to feed the hungry people when they come home…..which is just as well as I’m off to London early tomorrow morning to visit Racy and her coots for a few days. :j I’m really looking forward to it...or I will be, if I ever manage to get myself organized.
Have a lovely Saturday everyone.

Good morning everyone,
Penpen - GOOD LUCK to Master Penpen on his footie final, will be keeping our fingers crossed xx
Kyle - (HUGS) to your DS1, wish i knew what to say to him, but tell him all his 'virtual aunties' on MSE think hes wonderful!!
Well, ive had my weekend lie in - and DD brought me up a cuppa and a chocolate (left over from yesterday) so that was a lovely start to the day!!!
Should be quite busy today, we are all going to watch Plymouths last home game of the season - its normally a lovely atmosphere and this match my friends son is going to be one of the mascots so will be nice to see. Then, afterwards ive promised to take the children somewhere for dinner - normally for their birthdays we go to Mcdonalds or KFC as a treat (they think its a treat anyway!!) it will prob only be to a Weatherspoons, but still nicer than fast food!! They are looking forward to it, as its also more grown up than fast food.
Right, i need to get moving, had a really lazy day housework wise, so need to get a few bits done before going out later.
Have a lovely day everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning all!
I've got the in laws coming round tomorrow as well, Amie, so need to get a frenzied cleaning spree underway today!
Also got to pop out to Tesco for some much needed supplies and use up my Health & Beauty coupons before they expire!
Hope they get accepted or else they will go to waste.
Still need to get washed and dressed and have busy day ahead so need to get on with things....
Best wishes, all.

Morning Guys!
Had a great evening last night and we ended up watching Silence of the lambs:D ....having a chineese:rolleyes: and going on the Xbox:p Kids behaved themselves and OH dropped them home about 11'ish. They loaded the DW for me and swept through...without being asked:eek:    ...lovely children!
Quick question-I am making Mousakka for dinner tonight and have cooked the mince and sauce already. Could I make up now and put in the oven later
..also making a lasagna but know I can make that in advance.
WM is on, DW will be on soon, toilet cleaned and house pretty tidy. OH is putting away the washing later on, then the house will be fine:D
Having a buffet style meal later but we have everything in apart from salad, french stick and coleslaw ingredients. Thought I would make a lasagna and mousakka and can freeze whats left. Have a quiche in the freezer that needs using and some HM sausage rolls. Will put a pizza in too, some oven chips and some baked spuds. Havent seen BIL/SIL for ages for a good old gosspi, so should be a nice evening.
DD has her drama this afternoon, so will be quiet here for 3hrs:D I'm going to be sorting through some more of my essay and thanks to a certain person on MSE:A has helped me focus. Thanks to that special person. I just need to get through this course as its 60 points but am finding it sooooo boring!
Anyway, Id better go as I need a cuppa.
Hugs to all
