I did my almonds. Dry roasted then tossed in olive oil with cumin powder and smoked paprika and another 5 in oven omg they are lush...

Kids fed, toys tidied away, cleaned up after tea. Now upstairs have sorted DS clothes and decluttered a pile of small tshirts.

They are playing darts :eek: the Velcro kind lol. Is it bedtime yet? Dancing and football club tomorrow... Weather permitting...

Flypeople, I actually finished all applicable tasks on the lists this week. Sink also now appears to be sorted, at last. Will definitely pop on at weekend to see what you're all up in the snow.

Hi everyone

Not been around all week - been so busy working and sleeping! I don't know what's up with me at the moment, but I have been sleeping so much for about a fortnight. Been to the Docs today who has put me on antibiotics for a chest infection. Have to say, the house has suffered enormously this week. I think I've only managed to put 2 loads of washing and tumbling through since last weekend. OH and the kids have done their bit, but there's a way to go yet. Maybe tomorrow, eh?

I'm not even going to take up space on here listing it, but I'll tackle a few levels when I find my GUAG.

Mrs LW - hope you are in less pain today.
Skint - CHILL! and good luck for Monday.
Flylady Husbands - fingers crossed for good news re the jobs
GI - stay strong hun - you are doing a brilliant job and well done you for supporting your man.

and to anyone I've forgotten (brain is foggy at the mo, so I apologise if I've left you out), please chill out, laugh, relax, cry, scream and dance as necessary.

Well I was wrong about us not getting as much snow. It's horrendous and has been snowing all day. Causing accidents and public transport being taken off. Managed to get home ok though.

Washing machine on.
Phone charged in case electric goes off.
Dishes washed and dried.

It has just started snowing here. We had escaped it up to now.

I have finished my 2011/12 accounts! :j:j Just need to do my tax return now It shouldn't take too long, but I will start it off this weekend. I also need to make good headway on my 2012/13 accounts (which have barely been started) as I need to give details of my income to CAB and those sort of people.

We have listed our first 2 records on ebay :j Let's hope someone buys them as we need to get some cash in. I contacted ebay last night as i had a a 10 item limit on and we want to sell individual vinyl records. They have put it up to 50 items now, so we shall see how we get on

DH has cooked dinner & kept the kitchen looking ok. I have been in front of the lappy all day, with a bit of the paid stuff in between.

I have also spoken to my course leader, and I am suspending my course, not withdrawing. This means I can start again in September, and the module i have already passed & the money I have already paid is not lost I need to send her an email (mustn't forget!!).

Thanks for all your support, it is really appreciated. Have some (((hugs))) (all of you!) Let's spread the love!! (no, I haven't been on the booze )

Walked to DS's school to get him and he told me loads of kids had left early, I was rather annoyed as I could of got him earlier when I had to get DD but when I phoned the school they said no!! It was a long walk timewise as it was hard going on the way back against the wind and snow so I think I've done my exercise for today ;] I;m going to have to cancel the Gym membership as there is no way we can afford it at the moment, shame really as the payment goes up by £8 now [opening offer for a limited time] but thats life hey ho

I;ve decluttered curry and rice, thank goodness for batch cooking lol

aaaaaarrrrrgg.. haven't done anything as planned today & feeling really crap about it..
Did a load of washing and packed away some from airing cupboard but that's pretty much it.. hears hoping tomorrow is a better day, goodness knows I need one at the mo!
