Skinty posi-vibes for you, mate. I know what you mean about people brushing illnesses under the carpet - unless you look like you're at death's door, they don't believe there's really anything wrong. I get this all the time. Just know that my best wishes go with you and Skintbaby.;)

Sorry for the rant ladies, I am so confused,
Don't apologise; sometimes typing it all out for your Flyfriends to understand helps you get it straight in your own mind.:o
It emphases that we need to play to our strengths as a couple - I will do the money & he can deal with people :)
Yep, that's how we do it, too. Posi-vibes heading your way, too.:o

Skinty you sound like an amazing, very strong person - take care and know that we are all thinking of you in the days ahead.

Macpep you and DH have a lot to think about haven't you. I always find it helps to write things down - it seems to clear the mind more and helps you to focus but that may just be me! No wonder you're confused with so much going on.

GI you're so right that standing together as a couple is the way to go. That teacher sounds a right eejit; can't stand people like that.

I've a bit of bad news as been put on Valium - not coping very well with everything. Never taken it before so a bit nervous but GP said best thing is to give my mind a rest for a while .... going to hope for a nice quiet weekend so I can chill and don't think I'll be taking kids out on these icy roads. No flying done (beds not even done) but had a lovely walk with DH this morning - just the 2 of us and Pip of course. Back now to my 6 typing jobs !

Mumof2 - Have a nice relaxing weekend. I expect the much talked about weather will put an end to most peoples plans. Well done for going to the dr. Big hugs.

GI - you make a very good team. Big hugs.

Job Hunting MSE husbands - I hope the right outcome is reached and your work/life balances aren't too compromised.

Skint - Keep that flybaby cooking inside for the weekend.

Birdwatchers - I love the bird stories. Keep them coming please.

Busy week here. DH is away in Leeds, he's on his way home and I hope he beats the weather.

I went on a school trip to the Golden Hinde with DD2's class yesterday. Very interesting but so very, very cold.

Hospital visits with DS3 - no outcome to report.

Flying has been level one all week. I suspect we will have a quiet weekend, all football is cancelled:j:j:j. I will catch up with the lists then.

    tortoise fed and watered
5mins in rod as DD£ rang up needed some paperwork from her stash so i had to find it and ring her some figures.

going to add sock pairing to my 'to do list' as ive also found a bag of those

    Hi all,

Had a pal over most of the morning cue three children getting giddy and yelling rathe than just two. They had lots of fun, shared some lunch and now gone home. I also got a cuddle with a 3mth old, aww. He smelt like a new baby still. Do you remember that smell? Even DS was rubbing his head and sniffing him, lol. DD just wanted to hold him. She said he was a real dolly :D

After they left we got our wellies and waterproofs and went for a wander. We followed some tracks (cats, but I pretended it was a fox), made lots of footprints, and put loads of seed and stuff out for the birds. I melted the water in the bird bath but it was freezing back up again within 10min

DD was getting cold so we came back in. I've hung up all the laundry, kiddies have snacked, and we are now holed up in LR keeping warm. The floor is covered in toys, train tracks, fire stations, cars, dolly's, dolls house, jigsaws. Yowsers they better help tidy up later...

Chicken casserole for tea, then we may play upstairs till bedtime. I really need to go through DS wardrobe (again) he is just getting taller and thinner. Wish I was ;). Well, maybe not taller...

Yes DH & I have a lot do discuss, but its all kind of hanging in the balance just now, I am going to wait and see what happens with the interview and take it from there, no point in getting myself all worked up (yet)
