    Morning All

Just popping on to see how the interviews went and how skinty's getting on.

Skinty - hope today's a better day for you and ex MIL behaves herself.

No snow day for me - we have snow but they never shut the school where I work - it's a bitterly cold wind though so I'd rather just stay here all snug in my dressing gown!

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Jue

Thanks Juliejim.....the day is young....we shall see how it unfolds ;)

Back already to report that washing is sorted on airers, bedding is changed and in WM and dinner is in slow cooker for tonight. Paid stuff now but I have now promised myself a quick break later to do HHI.

    Catch you later.

  • Good morning :D

Emotional evening last night :( DH and I went to see his mum & sis to tell them everything that has been going on. We knew it would shock them & worry them, but in this new enforced regime (enforced by me :p) of openess & honesty, it had to be done. We now need to sit down with BIL & SIL and do it all again. This will be difficult as BIL is not really talking to DH (because he owes them money :o)

I have had the school on the phone because DS's form tutor is being a total @r$e and giving him half hour detention for not getting his planner signed  We would not normally say anything, if it is justified, but this is a 1st offence, and DS gets very anxious if he gets into trouble and so doesn't do anything wrong (ever!) This was after we had phoned the school to say that there were problems at home & please look out for out of character behaviour!:mad: The man is a total **** who started talking down to me and would not listen! I managed to pass the phone to DH before I really lost it! It emphases that we need to play to our strengths as a couple - I will do the money & he can deal with people :) I am having a cuppa to calm down

No snow here yet, but it is on its way - probably at school home time. I still haven't finished my accounts, so that is my priority this morning, as I don't start work until 1.30 today (have I said that I like Fridays :p)

Skinty lots of big (((hugs))) to you. You have a lot to deal with, with 4 children (and 1 on the way) without having to deal with 'grown up' children as well! I can't get over exMIL giving your DS chocolate, when she knows it makes him ill! This is her own flesh & blood, presumably? Grrr. Good luck today x
