Got 1 strawberry beginning to blush and my 2 leg bar pullets have just started to lay their blue shelled eggs.
Tomatoes have flowers and the slugs have finally finished off the last of the pepper plants

No more lurking please and I'm jealous of your raspberries, mine not even blushing yet.
Right, tea and camera (in case of anything interesting) in hand I'm off to look for interesting bees and start to move stuff.0 -
Annie123 thanks for the welcome.
I have just taken some photos of the raspberries and a baby tomato, but forgotten how to post them! Anybody help please??

continuing with the theme of stuff growing when I pay no attention to it, I've just taken a chum around the piece of land we have access to and....there are....
ripe gooseberries
another mahooooosive bush of not-quite-ripe goosberries
a huge (and I mean at least 12ft high) cherry tree producing fruit (something beginning with m? marcello?)
a crab apple tree, at least 15ft high
more strawberries
redcurrants galore
blackberries
another quince, we think
and.....
I have flowers (plural) on the aubergine
flowers on the pity-toms
flourishing marjoram, everywhere. gah.
basil, on the windowsill which I had in my dinner (and had forgotten about)
chives
purple sage
and.....I have.....a load of midgie bites on my face.0 -

You need a photo bucket account or something along those lines and post the code that says forums I think or something like that.Little_Vics wrote: »I have strawberries!!!!
Actually I was surprised how many of mine are turning red in just the last few days:) and I've got a few red currents too, but that's 2 on a string several times rather than a bunch to eat.
All but 2 of my peas have been eaten, a lot of stems devoid of leaves, my own fault for not getting out there over the last few days. Have used that space to dump pots instead and after shed I'll stick another courgette there or something instead.
Pulled up more purple spuds from a few years ago, do wonder how many times I have to dig that bit over to get them all out.
My pineberries look happy, hope they flower and produce a few berries this year. I'm looking forward to tasting them. And my m27 coxes apple is loaded this year, no June drop yet but if it doesn't do it over the next week I'll thin them myself.0 -
Just a thanks to all you veg growers out there. I have so enjoyed reading all about your exploits, good and sad. The pics are fantastic. I must be very, very nosey . I love looking at people's gardens and plants.
I have quite a large garden myself about 100ft by 40ft, I think! I just can't handle it so well nowadays. I,m 63 so not as fit as I was. But I WILL NOT give in. I love gardening and growing things. Though nowadays my veggies are all grown in tubs or raised beds, much simpler.
Will try to get some photos up if anyone is interested and I can fathom out how to get them on here.
Keep on everyone. So enjoying this thread.0 -

So, you seem to be quite good at fruit. Can you make pie? :drool:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

If you upload them to Photobucket (other sites are available!) and post the
